You guys needs to get out of Montréal and go where's Poutine was invented. Drummondville !!! haha I know there's a debate between Drummondville, Victoriaville and Warwick but seriously, if you ever comes to Drummondville, you got to try Fromagerie Lemaire's poutine, or Roy Jucep and if you want something a little bit more fancy, go try an BB pork poutine at 200 Brock. It is amazing!!

we should organize a poutine competition and let Drummondville, Victoriaville and Warwick fight it out in the arena

Yep this one is good (Victoria), fresh cheese it's what it takes. You can change the french fries and the sauce, i even eat it with only ketchup but the cheese you cannot change it and it need to be fresh.

Is it far from highway 20? Cause I would consider it next time I drive to Montreal.

Reaching it from highway 20 may take 15 to 20 minutes. Looks like there's one in St-Nicolas on highway 20 too (never been to this one though).

Give a try to Fromagerie Lemaire. They make their own cheese too and it's right on Highway 20. You just need to take St-Germain-de-Grantham exit just before Drummondville...

Rice flour isn't very good at making thick sauce.

This is my spin on a "tradiotional" poutine with breaded fries, shredded mozzarella and St. Hubert poutine gravy with reduced sodium.

After several experiments I found this to be my favorite combination. I prefer lots of gravy, shredded cheese over curds and a ton of freshly ground black pepper.
