If neither one is playing, then experience really doesn't mean anything. Corvo isn't any better than Colaiacovo at this point and his attitude speaks for itself.

Wolves are in a roster conundrum. They have ten defensemen on the roster.

I wish I had more time right now to blog the games. I am SOOOO busy (with the most annoying and demonstrative hand gestures and inflections)!!

Kinda funny that in a blowout game Rattie and Jaskin didn't record a single point and Jaskin even finished a -1.

Broke a 6 game goal scoring drought.

Wolves are playing good hockey.

I also thought that was funny. Kind of demonstrates the depth of the Wolves roster. Rattie and Jaskin don't have to be great every game and they win anyway.

The game review also has Rattie with a fighting major at 19:26 of the 2nd period, but there's no matching fighting major (or any penalty) for a Rockford player, lol. Must be a mistake, but if Rattie really did get a fighting major, I would love to see video of that.

Rattie got targeted twice last night by IceHogs, and all hell broke loose afterwards both times.

2 - RFD Shea, 19:26 - Major - Elbowing, 5 min (PP)
2 - RFD Shea, 19:26 - Fighting, 5 min
2 - RFD Shea, 19:26 - Game misconduct - Fighting off the playing surface, (46.8) 10 min
2 - RFD Shea, 19:26 - Game misconduct - Elbowing, (45.5) 10 min
2 - CHI Rattie, 19:26 - Fighting, 5 min

This was the 2nd altercation. Rockford's Shea went after him and earned himself got a two majors and two game misconducts. I haven't posted the fight yet, but this happened afterward:

I for one am not thrilled about ty rattie getting into a fight at the nhl level, mainly because I don't want to see a Ty Fighter pun on nhl.com....

Ah, the original Wolves' website stats page for this game showed those penalties by Shea occurring a few minutes before Rattie's fighting major.

Shea also punched Rattie in the face during their escorted walk through the tunnel towards the dressing rooms, A policeman had to pull them apart. I hope Shea will be getting a suspension.

Actually, two policemen (one is a hockey player himself) tackled Shea.

Same referee as last night.

In previous games that Rockford has gooned it up the night before, their coach has been smart enough to scratch them, but who knows. Hopefully the league will suspend them ahead of the game.
