I think that Carbo's and Gainey's answers to the questions that the Isles may be posing about Komisarek are answered to the left in my avatar...

Komisarek wouldn't be untouchable if I were running things but it would take a very special player coming our way for me to let him go.

I don't know why people say that players are "untouchable". No one is truly untouchable if the right package comes along. I mean, if Pittsburgh turns around and offers you Crosby for Komisarek, do you turn the deal down? If you accept this deal, then it proves that Komisarek is not untouchable.

However, I'm sure most of you will say that this deal would never even come close to being offered but in the end, what we need to learn is that no player is untouchable. They are simply more difficult to let go due to what they bring to this team so if they were to be traded, something even more special would have to come back the other way.

Yeah, and we have interest in Crosby. Them's the breaks.

If we can get Trent Hunter or Brenden Witt in return, I would consider it. But Komisarek is the future of the Habs defencemen.

I'd be really pissed if Komi was traded.

If they offered me both of them for Komisarek, I'd still say no.

They are not equal value to Komisarek, and Witt is in his 30s. Not so smart.

OKPOSO would be great, especially considering how "small" we are up front. I am a KOMI-fan and love how his game has improved. I would rather keep him, but if I can name my price - OKPOSO would make me awfully tempting!

He is every bit of the 60, 195 pounds that he is listed at. Okposo should become an NHL power forward who skates on the first or second line and receives plenty of power play time. He could approach Jarome Iginla, as they play similar games and Okposo could end up as big as Iginla.

hmmm, makes you think...
Yeah, I don't watch a lot of junior/minor hockey and I don't trust internet scouting reports but I've heard from the smartest hockey fan I've ever encountered who's been watching/following junior and minor hockey all his life that Okposo has the potential to be a Shanahan/Iginla type of player. He seems to think he may not reach that level depending on his development but believes he'd be a top line powerforward none the less.

Makes me wish Milbury was still in charge.

Komi is not part of the problem. This gets an obvious hell no from me.

They can ask... But they won't get him. As much as the habs can ask about Crosby, Ovechkin or Lecavalier.
