Kariya and Timonen praising Forsberg

Did someone note the irony of Paul Kariya and Kimmo Timonen telling the world how important to any game Peter Forsberg is?

1. Remember that famous swedish stamp of Forsberg scoring the winning goal at the Olympics in Lillehammer?
Actually, it wasn't the final attempt.
If Paul Kariya hadn't missed his final attempt at Tommy Salo, Forsberg wouldn't have a stamp.

2. Remember the Forsberg drops to Sundin drops to Lidstrom who scores the game winning goal against Finland in Turin?
Well, Kimmo Timonen was one of the finnish D's on the ice.

Ergo, they both lost an olympic final to that frigging pest.

I don't see how it's ironic, they realize he's one of the best players in the world and now they get to play with him.

I think he was trying to point out, that both Kariya and Timonen had lost Olympic finals due to Forsbergs clutchness. They learned the hard way.
