Huet not out for season

It looks like it wasn't as bad as first thought for Huet and he might be able to play in the playoffs if we make it.

Also Rivet could be back on saturday and Begin might be ready tomorrow. So if Rivet is back on saturday and Begin is ok then someone's got to go down, assume it will be Milroy.

Great news for the Habs, now they really have to grind it out and get as much points as they can to make the playoffs...

Almost a bad news, was quite happy to see more youngsters in a Habs uniform...

Meh.

Realistically, if we're going to make the playoffs, we're going to need either Aebi or Halak to get hot and be very strong. And whoever that guy is will be starting in the playoffs.

It'll be good if Huet comes back, but at this point he'll be a plan B in the playoffs.

Milroy wont be sent down, we will lose him on waivers to Philadelphia or something. I would just send Murray down, its not like anyone will claim him anyways.

So Milroy does have to clear waivers? Personally I don't want him to go anywhere. If Murray/Downey never sees the ice again as a Hab, then I'll be happy.

X2

I really think Milroy can become good on both side of the ice, I really like what I saw from him.

I would imagine that they used an injury recall for Milroy? Otherwise, it's true that he's not exempt from waivers in general anymore. He cleared already at the start of the season, but his strong season might make it harder for him to clear again should it ever come to that.

Same here.... If we make the playoffs the only way he plays is if the other 2 goalies struggle.

He'll have to back up in the play-offs, if we make it. These other guys Aebischer or Halak will be getting us there, you gotta keep up with them. If we make it.

Bad news imo.

Streit is playing more solid than Rivet on D. The 4th line is one of our best, and Milroy is doing better than Begin was. Most importantly, I was hoping for Halak to be given a long stay.

I hope Huet is out longer, I hope Rivet isn't coming back, I hope Begin is out for a few more weeks.

Flame me.
