Budaj better go back to owning Boston or we're in the wildcard.

If he ain't up for it, Tokarski's one win in Tampa in 11-12 was against Boston!

While 10 minutes ago, McGuire said Price is practising against real linemates.

I wouldn't rule it out.

Even if Price doesn't start, it would at least be reassuring to see him backing up Budaj.

Isn't the whole point to rest until 100% healthy? If he's unfit to start, why would he be fit to backup?

I'm fine with him sitting against Boston as long as he's back for Ottawa, if he's still not ready by then I'll start to get worried.

Our back-to-back this weekend could give us a huge 4 points as long as we play halfway decently

8 games now without Carey? ****. We need to play for .500 to make the playoffs. Team Canada can use Luongo next time...

How does he goal the Olympic final- come back, take one shot in a warmup and be out for a month. Ffs.

I wouldn't be expecting him back for awhile. As has already been shown everyone speculated he would be back after a few games well here we are now and closing in on 10 games and no light at the end of the tunnel. I expect him to be out another 5 atleast.

I really DON'T want Price to play tonight, even if he could. With a few more days, he should make sure it's 100% so it doesn't flare up again in 2-3 weeks.

I think with a few days off the team will bounce back with a much stronger game, plus Vanek is a bruins killer, hopefully Budaj can bounce back.

He didn't practice the first week he was out, he's now taking shots and everything. I expect him in nets on the weekend...

Yeah, he'll be back for Saturday barring a set back.

I don't think a healthy Carey does anything for us on the Western Road Trip except turn the loss against Phoenix into a win.

I'm not sure he could have won us the San Jose game, but at least we'd have probably avoided that gimme Budaj gave them that took the wind out of the team's sails.

A couple of big saves against good teams goes a long way.

Just say no to NHL players in the Olympics.

What is that Gold Medal worth now?

I agree I have never liked the NHL at the Olympics no medal is worth losing important players from your lineup. Ask Isles fans how they feel about JT being out because of his injury during the Olympics.

i honesltly would prefer risking budaj for a bit more, we are in a very good position to make the playoffs regardless. rest price more than he needs to, make sure he's good for the playoffs, where it counts. budaj was adequate before a handfull of games where the puck didn't like him.

I love the Olympics.

Sucks for the Habs to have their best player injured for so many games because of his participation

Just send the best Junior aged players. That will be as exciting, no doubt.

I think it will mean a lot for him over the long haul. Players usually benefit from those kinds of tournaments. I don't think this is a big deal.

More than USA's Thank you for participating ribbon?

I kid, but I'm very proud of Carey for his performance, and I think in the long run it will benefit him. Once he's back on the ice starting for us, people will quickly forget about the injury.

Gold medal or missing a few NHL games over the course of a long NHL career. Hmm decisions decisions.

And frankly if it's a nagging injury like many suspect that was re-aggrivated, then it's likely it would have happened either way.
