Good thing I always set two alarms to wake up in the morning, as I forgot to update the time on my DS Lite. Literally the only clock I forgot to change.

Thank God my iPhone auto updated, otherwise I would've accidentally slept in an extra hour.

I'm a huge fan of the double alarm. I'll set one for like 7 minutes before I want to wake up then one for the time I need to wake up. I generally always just go back to sleep til the second alarm, but its still helpful.

Oh yeah, I've been doing it for years. Have one set for 7:14 and the other set for 7:30 just in case I doze off after killing the DS alarm and making the mistake of letting my head touch the pillow.

Also, hope you're all watching Archer. This season's been damn good.

I've got a three year old daughter that LOVES My Little Pony. Like it's her favorite show/game/toys/whatever. As far as tv shows you watch with your kids it's not half bad.

The only issue is that I've got My Little Pony crap all over my house and in my car. I've got her a seat pet - it's a stuffed animal/pillow that attaches to a seatbelt of Starlight Sparkle that she can cuddle/sleep with while driving - and I've been approached and judged as a brony. Hey, you're into what you're into. But NOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Oh, and Ale Asylum beer is apparently now available in Chicago. They didn't have Ambergeddon, but I'm sure they will soon.

i love that your daughter loves my little pony...my sister and i were both obsessed with it...but we're both 80s girls...so it makes me happy it's still cool

if my little pony annoys you...just be happy you're young enough (not old enough) to have missed the Cabbage Patch Dolls and Jem and the Holograms phases.

It's by the same people that did Powerpuff Girls, which did the same thing.

Ah, remembering to actually bring my headphones so I can listen to music during the down times at work makes it infinitely more enjoyable. Yesterday dragged on from about noon to 3:00 as a result...

I have two and a half year old twins, boy and girl. You all have it easy

My son loves Thomas the Train, my daughter right now has experimented with my little pony but her favorites are the Mice (Mickey & Minnie) and Princess Sophia. That's what my weekends are now.

My three year old is full blown princess stuff, all the time. She wasn't too bad last year but we took her to Disney in September and since then everything is all about princesses.

There are some great cartoons out there now. My 5 year old will watch the good ones but my 2 year old loves Bubble Guppies which is ****ing murder to watch. I'd recommend Jack's Big Music Show to anyone with kids 2.5-4. For older kids, Regular Show is awesome, probably my favorite cartoon.

It's kind of surreal to me that Thomas the Tank Engine is still popular.

I was obsessed with that as a kid. I used to leap out of bed to run full speed to the TV and watch Shining Time Station, even though I think it was on pretty early in the morning. My dad still has loads of my Thomas the Tank Engine stuff laying around.

But I doubt it's very different from people who grew up watching Sesame Street.

If you're looking for a fun, cheap game, check out One Finger Death Punch. Surprisingly fun and addictive for such a simple game.
