Kevin Henderson has been loaned to the Stars. Francis Wathier has been loaned to the Ads.

Jonathan Diaby is arguably the best overall defenceman in the QMJHL.

Rich get richer. Don't really see a space for him in the side now. Could de-throne Ekholm or Ellis if he was good enough.

I'm sure he would easily over take Bartley or Ekholm, especially Bartley. That or could make Ellis trade bait.

he's got another year in junior right? so figuring at least one season with the Ads and he's ready when Bartleys contract expires.

If I'm reading it correctly, it looks like he can make the jump next season since his birthday is before December 31st.

Would be great if he panned out. That would allow us to trade from a position of strength for some help up front, assuming we'll still need help up front when that time comes. (Who am I kidding, of course we will)

I don't see Ekholm going anywhere. IMHO, he's going to be a really good, not great but really good steady dman.

I agree. I honestly believe he and Jones are going to be the second pairing for many years. They have size, the ability to skate and will only put on weight to their 6'4" frames which will allow them to handle the bigger players in the league. If Diaby is as good as advertised, he may make a great addition to play alongside Ellis. You'd have a PP specialist on the third pairing. You'd have size to help him out against tougher matchups. You'd have a solid second pairing and of course you have Weber and Josi on the top pairing. I could deal with that. Which to me means MDZ is trade bait in two years.

I see Diaby (?sp) as the 7th D man to start with, taking Bartleys place. He would play in games where we need a bit more muscle initially, at least until it became clear hat he could play a regular shift night in and night out.

Diaby is still 2 years away, minimum. It is a bot early to see where he fit in the crrent group. Bartley s a good 7th dman, because he is a bit older than the rest. Otherwise, the 7th dman would be in the old grizzled vet mold

See Goon, Rockford, Mills, Brad. He and Liambas may get suspended for this weekend's outside the rules of hockey exploits. Milwaukee needs another guy who is willing to knock out some of the evildoers teeth. See Goon, Rockford, Shea, Bobby.

Wathier is willing to drop the gloves if needed and can play in all situations as well. When playing 2nd/3rd line minutes, he nets a high teen goal total ... physical enough to play 4th line minutes.

If his wife makes the trip to Milwaukee, she'll befriend the entire arena in the next two weeks. She recognizes and says hello to everyone ... while Francis stands to the side waiting for her to finish talking to everyone.

Saros broke a record for most shutouts by a rookie in Liiga tonight. It was his 7th of the year.

He's played 43 games with 15 wins, 1.78 GAA and 92.72 SV%.

His team, HPK, still has a chance to make the first round of the playoffs, as they are tied with Ilves for the final playoff spot before the final regular season games on Thursday.

I will be at the games on Friday and Saturday. Is she tall or short, blond, brunette or a redhead?

I am pleased to have Wathier playing for Milwaukee rather than against!

Regular season ended, HPK won 8 straight to bump Ilves to an early summer vacation. They'll face Jokerit in the best-of-three preliminary playoff round.

44 games, 16-16-8, 1.76 GAA (2nd best), .928 %SVS (3rd) and 7 SO (tied for 4th).

Crispy said on the Game this afternoon that Preds brass went to watch the Admirals play the Iowa Wild last night, and that basically the entire team laid an egg, but the one player that every one of them came away impressed by was Calle Jarnkrok. Said that he was far and away the best player on the ice.

He has been pretty good so far I agree. I wonder how impressed they all were when he was showboating and did a blind between the legs pass backwards to an Iowa player who was all alone in the middle of our zone. Luckily the Ads goalie bailed him out with a good save.

I wasn't at the game. Milwaukee was losing 3-0 in the first period, giving up 2 PPGs. They scored in the second and third periods to make it 3-2. They pulled Mazanec with 90 seconds left to have a 2 man advantage at the end of the game, but couldn't score. I wouldn't call that laying an egg unless you compare it to the 9-1 pasting of the same team 2 weeks ago. Milwaukee out shot Iowa 2 to 1 in both games. I think Iowa was better prepared to play in Milwaukee and against Milwaukee. The Admirals have still won 6 of 8 games against the Wild. How often do you win every one against another pro team?

I don't know if the team gets nervous, but they always seem to play poorly in front of big crowds and visitors from Nashville.

I'd rather the team wait till officially out of the playoffs. Same with Foraberg.

They will only call either of these guys up if it won't hurt the Ads rhythm and march to the post season there. No sense yanking them back and forth for a game or two if it risks anything for a successful post season run together in the AHL. Better to be winning and getting the culture down there playing max minutes in all situations than getting 11-12 minutes in the big league where they could struggle. At least that is how I would view it right now.

One thing I have noticed is Forsberg gets a lot of time on the PK.
