I think you said 38th... maybe, definitely maybe. It is a step up for Orpik however, the standards, they are low.

It's two good games against quite possibly the only team/player he'll bring it against, it's not something to get excited about or to write an article about. Crappy player performs in the only situation he performs in, huzzah! Call me when there's an article about Despres having a good game.

For Orpik it all stems back to that slashing penalty against the Caps in Washington. He was pissed and it was almost as if he said to himself, screw this waiving the stick stuff, i'm gonna plant people on their *****. Good for the Pens, bad for the opponents.

Orps still only does it against Ovi though. He's had less than 5 ok games outside of Washington matchups all season. Its encouraging that he can still turn it on, but his decision making should be a non-factor by this point in his career.

Yes he played well against Ovy but the PR media is always looking for an excuse to pump the tires of a guy the fans are getting tired of. I mean does a player deserve a positive article after every good game? What about deserving a critical article after playing like **** all season?

Also, I'm so sick of seeing **** about Tanner Glass. Every article has Glass quotes. He's a run of the mill fourth liner. Enough already.

He's an RFA so unless he feels like holding out (not a smart move), he doesn't have much of a choice.

Where's IcedCapp with the pre-game thread?

3.13.14 - Practice @ Southpointe

Kunitz and Neal are not on the ice for #Pens practice at Southpointe. Everyone else is accounted for, including Bennett.@penguins

Good for Kunitz, was a bad fall last game. Let him take the time he needs to recup. Nice to see Bennett, wonder if there is any chance he plays this weekend

Wonder if Nealer has something nagging?

Yes, GREAT to see BB practicing, but I saw something from DB saying that he was to see a doctor like Sunday, or something, and that he wouldn't be cleared to play until AFTER that Dr. visit...

Here's how the #Pens lines look without 14 & 18: 49-87-22, 36-71-19, 57-16-15, 17-46-27. Engelland rotated with the D.

This could be bad news for Kunitz, these seem like lines DB could use in the game except for BB in Neal's spot.

These are my exact feelings as well.
