The problem Roloson has been having is the defence in front of him has been terrible. Despite that, he's had a few games where he was on fire and played like it was the 2006 playoffs all over again. It's a shame because if we got a decent defense I can only picture good things.
He's an asset and our only option in net (Markkanen is good every once in a while but cannot carry consecutive games and our prospects have no real NHL experience).
People complain about his antics, but it never seems to dawn on anybody that perhaps that's what Roli (I've never seen a chocolate and caramel treat known as a 'rolo' in net for us) needs to do to play his best? Some people thrive by staying calm and cool, some need to get worked up and off the charts emotionally. It's like, say, Pat Hentgen compared to Greg Maddux (in the spirit of lowetide's 500 at bats analogy - Which Rita never got here).
