Lots of hyperbole there.... No one is out to get the Jackets; Comeau followed Smith, jumped off the ice 5 feet before the boards and came close to breaking the guy’s neck...

It would have been five games if Comeau didn’t have a spotless record...

I hope Cam plays well and is back in the lineup for good. I don't like taking out a guy who has scored 18 goals this year for a 4th line player.

I loved the hit by Comeau. Seemed to change the momentum of the game.

I'm with you on that. The xcheck was well after the goal..hell McK was celebrating, should have been roughing at the least if not a misconduct.

But the hit by Comeau has to be disciplined. You can't board a guy like that, he crosses the line. Sometimes you have to play the puck and not the man.

Sure... If you love hitting a guy in the back and driving his head into the boards.

Going to have to ignore this thread. I really don't like unnecessary, reckless hits, that have a reasonable chance of providing concussions. I like big hits as much as the next guy; however that hit has no place in this game.

Intentional, lined him up and drove him into the boards hard.
Good call by the league regardless of who it was.

With the lawsuit the NFL just had to settle you have to believe all pro sports are going to be proactive when it comes to avoiding concussions. Look at baseball, they are, (or already have, not sure) outlawing base runners running over catchers at the plate.

I still can not understand how Brown (LA) was not suspended when he launched himself at Murray's head

Because it would have made him ineligible for the Olympics.
