The newest addition to my handball team, 30M for pivot Wolfgang Lueck

Manager says his scouted Qs are:

Quote:
fes96
wer92
blk92
pas63
tec90
sch70
agg92
I also had an eye for a good back this morning with 87 EQ, bid 42M, he went for 44M, i could have bid more but i thought that if i got him i wouldn't have enough money for this player even with 26M loan and since backs are plentiful i decided not to bid more. Looking at it now i could have gotten him but i really thought this player would go for more and was willing to put 50M bid if i had to.

That's one position on my team i don't need to worry about anymore. I did get a ~315 OR pivot about a week ago from SA but has like 67 EQ and is 5/6 so he'll be on the market at the end of this or next season.

How did I miss this guy!?!?! I was looking for high-Q pivots last night. Gah! Nice buy! Was there much of a bidding war?

Not really, at least not today. I think only one or two bids today and none in the last few hours

Got to love that! Amazing how fast the handball market went dry.

Thought I'd share with you guys because they'll go way out of my range, but another hockey team went belly up. These national team players are on the market:

Jalo Näränen

Zane Crews

Joško Ban

They all go out 56 hours from the time of this post. Full disclosure: Crews has been relegated to a fringe depth player on the US National team. He'll likely retain his spot this coming season, but after that it's up in the air based on the development of the talent pool.

Knowing your luck, you should have saved some cash to replace some inevitable CL drops.

Two interesting players on the market, only enough time to scout one, neither manager responding to question if scouted ... what to do ...

Dude, that's my hockey team, too. We're in year 7 of the rebuild and I've never had an 18yo reach 6/6.

Whoa, nelly. Gus Wahl made it to 6/6 at 17 years old Of course he would. I pulled him at the end of the season and switched his position. So he would be the one to make it this far. Effing ********.

Three 16yos also made it, but they're all ****.

Three of my 11 starters who are 21yo remained at 5/6.

Four of my seven 20yos are 5/6.

Thanks. The question is: can you scout him in just two days?

Oh, damn. Is this Handball? I need... 3 days for Handball. But only one day for soccer and hockey.

EDIT: tesco, I was tempted since I have my starters in camp. But I left some starters out. I'd hate to burn them too early. Although my sponsor money does kind of depend on it

Oh. I finally looked at my first opponent. He started two months ago. I think I should be safe on normal

EDIT 2: I guess I underestimated the crappiness of my team. I needed the shootout to pick up the win. 44 shots on net and only 2 goals. And the scrub team on the other side scores on back to back shots a minute and a half apart with around 10 minutes to go to tie it up. Morons.

Yes handball

Ah hockey,.. i don't know who and what to scout in hockey. Few seasons back i scouted all leagues in my country for potential NT players, but it passed me. Maybe again this season first week or month i go through them once or twice but that is it. So most of my time i spend scounting players any of my so-called competition buys and players that are still stuck on HC nu3tion.sk† to see how his players looked like

So I started my campaign in II.2 with a win. Against the guy I defeated in the III.14 final. He managed to win the qualifier and now we had a very disputed game both at VH. I guess this is a rivalry now

Anyway, an away win is always an away win. Now I guess I'll lose 3 or 4 straight.

I've started the construction of one maxed-out arena sector and I'll try to spend my last few millions now in defensive upgrades. I'll then offload the excessive players and start piling up cash for another stand at the beginning of next season. What do you guys think?

Long term lurker first time poster... That is almost half of 1.1 handball here now lol.

Bulls looked good against Team USA but the next 4 games will tell if he will help with keeping the shots down. That is the biggest issue my team has with the lower OR players.

The good news is I won't be eliminated from the National Cup by FC Corona for the 3rd season in a row. Instead it'll be the top seeded Boilermakers ending the Mouth Breathers' cup run this season.

Just think redcard I almost took Corona out in the 3rd round. Wish I played my starters that game now. Next year, next year.

PitStastny has made me some new team outfits so OG is looking dapper for the remainder of 2014.

First hockey game is in the books. Picked up the first bonus for a win. Very nice. Played the B team on VH. Did anyone play overtime and get a bonus?

If anyone is looking for a keeper in handball there is a 16 year old 5/6 that looks good. Possible starter then backup keeper for the next few years or starter for one year then sell. Ratio's are not too bad and only blk/pass would be fixed within 2 to 3 weeks.

5-3W to start off my I.1 campaign in hockey.

Picked up an 80+ AQ Universal handball guy today for 6M. Shows up and some Qs are sub-60. It drives me nuts!

I had another guy lined up but was 500k short. Ah well. The good news, >2000 fans in my friendly today. Woot woot! 200k for a friendly

I went to the shootout and I got the full bonus from my type 2 sponsor. Huzzah. I didn't realize that we'd get the bonuses on game day. I thought they would be added to Tuesday's payday.
