With a healthy Price there's no place for him here, unless you want to waste him by making him our bench warmer.
He's better off being the starter in Hamilton

I've been in snow before. I was skiing.

Afterwards, I took my skis off, drove a few hours and was back in Phoenix where it was something like 18 degrees Celsius still.

Budaj has just one more year left. If Habs have confidence they could bring in Tokarski up later next season.

I know Budaj has had a terrible go, but until two weeks ago he was always solid for us. Tokarski has looked good, but its a few games, you don't just hit the eject button on Budaj.

What do you mean? Goalie till the end is Price. Tokarski will continue proving himself being the #1 goalie in Hamilton. Budaj will prove themselves on the bench till the end with maybe 1 or 2 starts at best. In the summer, take a decision. Waite will see if Tokarski is worth working with and would make a nice, younger backup. Until then, you don't send Budaj in the AHL or anything like that. Budaj is part of the team.

I've seen him play in Hamilton and I find he goes down WAYYYYYY to early and doesn't get up.

The whole thing with Price right now is a bit confusing but from what I know, he's healthy. They just wanted Price to stay back in Montreal tonight for extra rest which was planned ahead regardless of the result against Ottawa

No limit on players kept at this point. Dogs have two goalies, keep Tokarski up!

Don't forget about Dubnyk, he'll be in the mix for the backup job as well next year!

Or short term pain that translates to long term pain. Ask the Oilers.

I believe Dubnyk will be FA (Or RFA, I'm not sure) at the end of this season so he won't be in the mix next year unless we resign him

Lightning Fan coming in Peace to say Congrats to Tic. I have been a fan of his since his Spokane days and was ecstatic when Tampa drafted him. Was so proud to see him win the Calder Cup as part of that crazy good Norfolk team and was sad to see him go. Glad to see him succeeding. Best of luck to you guys down the stretch and hope to see you guys in the Playoffs. Okay enough of that we can now resume hating each other.

Unlike Oilers, who had nothing before the 'rebuild', Sabres have a ton of talent in the system before they even have their first lottery pick.

No seriously, it's the kid's catchphrase, and he's playing awesome. A Mod should change the thread title to include #dece in it. Btw i'm talking about Tokarski

Why? Dubnyk deserves another chance. He's been a solid goalie for years until this year. A summer off might do him good and he might come back better than ever.

I don't see Mayer saying around.

Dubie could split time with Tokarski.

Condon can be ECHL/AHL call-up.

No harm in signing Dubie.

Tokarski played a solid game and kept the door closed when we needed him... That save on Hodgson with a couple minutes left on the breakaway was huge! Great job kid on earning your first career NHL Shutout...

Habs weren't overly impressive, but they did enough to win and that's all the matters... Glad they have one day off before a big one against the Avalanche on Tuesday.
