It's not always easy to bring players back on to the team.
One assumes the team will be better, but there's a lot of chemistry that has to be recharged and those players who have been on the shelf for awhile have to shake off the rust.
We've run into this repeatedly over the past few years right before the playoffs.
So true. We're almost eerily healthy right now. I for one am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm not wishing an injury on anyone, but it would sure make life easier if we knew whether it was a forward or a defenseman who is going to blow out a knee the day after the trade deadline.
Daniel Paille is out now with a broken finger, that'll be a few weeks. Maybe it's the water we have here? If you're wondering that makes it 7 guys out. *Sigh* I think it's the indian curse we have...
So how about we just split this next home and home with no more injuries? We're running out of guys to call up from Rochester.
OT: It saddens me to see some blatant hostility towards our fanbase. Sure, everyone has trolls and it's usually the same 3-5 people from each fanbase (especially on HF). I always respected the Sens and the knowledgable fans, too bad a few bad apples seem to cloud peoples judgement both ways.
