what are the chances that Latta earns an NHL contract with the Rangers if he plays and plays well for the Wolfpack???

I'd say his chances are just as equal to most of the players they'll bring in later on at development camp, which he'll most likely be a part of now. We got to see how he transitions into the AHL, first. I think it's a bit early to tell yet. Let's see him work for it.

Trying to dump the puck, and we hit the referee twice in 10 seconds haha. You can tell this is a Rangers affiliate

how did Latta play in his 1st pro game?? i noticed he got an assist.. i pulling for him to be a Rangers prospect in the future. a nice mix of grit and skill something lacking throughout the whole organization.

Did Latta play on a line with Goldobin? I know we've got some depth at RW, but he'd be a solid option if he's still around when we pick.

Latta played mostly with Jean and Kristo. He played quite well. His face offs are refreshing and he got an assist on McIlrath's goal. Really solid game for a player in his first pro match.

Latta was a PPG player for Sarnia and still was -41? I'm not even mad, that's amazing.

Have to say, I've been able to watch the Wolf Pack games since a week or 2 and it's so freaking great to see guys like Lindberg, Kristo, McIlrath, Fast and some less known guys like Latta, Jean and Hrivik. And now I finally have something to do at night when the Rangers don't play.

McIlrath has 6 goals and 13 points in 49 games after having 5 assists in 45 games last season.

Let the good times roll !

I'm much more interested in Lindberg who leads the team in points his first year in NA. Although he had two points last night he has struggled in the month of March at about the 55 game mark, which just happened to be the amount of regular season games he played in Sweden.

hes got a really heavy shot. nice to see him using it. his offensive game has progressed nicely.

his overall defensive game, decision making and intuitiveness needs to follow suit.

im hopeful hes ready mid next year and that theres a spot waiting for him.

You're a better man than most ODC.

Similar sentiments. McI's defensive game needs to be his bread and butter, that's the only way he'll carve out a career in the NHL.

Lindberg intrigues me greatly. I don't know how much upside is there, but I'd be shocked if he doesn't become at least a third liner in the mold of Dom Moore. Could maybe have enough offense in him to put up 2nd line numbers, though.

I'm hoping we can get Dave Bolland production and face off prowess.

I think there is more upside there than people think. He turns 23 in October.

People say Miller will be the 3c next year. I see Lindberg grabbing that spot long-term. Just a very solid overall hockey player.

Between Miller and Lindberg--there should at least be a decent to pretty good 3rd line center who can put up some reasonable offensive numbers.

The way I'd rank Hartford's prospects:

1. Miller
2a. b. and c. in alphabetical order Allen, Fast, Lindberg
5. McIlrath
6. Kristo
