Actually, watch tapes of Jed Ortmeyer from last year. Any notion of Jed ever playing solid 3rd line minutes would seem like an absolute miracle.
The guy does not and will never ooze offensive acumen. However, the strides his offensive game have made this year are actually VERY noticeable. While not always reflecting the situation perfectly, his offensive stats from this year are equal to that of last year's complete season (1/4 of the games)
Jed will always have hands of stone. But hope for him reaching a 25 pt. plateau aren't completely unreasonable.
