Man that day off really seemed to have benefited Mason in a big way. He stood on his lips tonight! Solid game from our offense. Defense was meh per the usual but hey Stars are a very good team so I applaud our resilience.

Raffl had one hell of a game. This young man keeps on impressing me more and more. Wish Simmer coulda got the hatty but oh well, a win is a win.

I called this game pretty well before it started. Shame I don't play in the prediction thread (we have one right?).
I don't either, I did it for a tiny bit back during the 1-7 dark ages and ever since I stopped everything has gone back to normal.

It's honestly just more and more proof that Berube is a joke of a coach that Downie gets to play, Raffl is being completely wasted on the 4th line, and Gus is in the timeout corner.

To be fair, the team has just gone 4-0 against the Pens x 2, Blackhawks, and Stars.

It's working.

this "joke of a coach" has brought the Flyers from dead last in the division to 2nd place and one of the top teams in the league since December

I think he knows what he's doing

Pretty good start to the 12 games of death.

The toughest test is probably the next one. Keep it rollin'!

We're now ahead of the Leafs. A Columbus win would mean we're within striking distance of Montreal with the game in hand. Playing with fire cheering for the Jackets, but it would be nice to possibly have home ice if we make it beyond the first round.

Yeah, that's clearly the coach and not the fact that the team is actually playing like expected instead of seriously underachieving. Obviously that's all Berube.

Berube has said that Raffl will be a goal scoring top sixer. What's his record since taking over? You eat your own hair, don't ya?

"Come Hither" Yoda finds this winning streak down the stretch to be quite pleasing.

I'm really glad that mistake by Read didn't cost us a point, or worse.

Mason can consider himself slightly unlucky not to get the shutout.

Not really. It's good to spread out talent throughout the lineup. Raffl makes our 4th line dependable

Raffl's making our 4th line an option right now & doing so allowing our other lines not to be overworked. You swap him out with Downie or any call up & you don't have that option. Couturier & Read are playing fine without Raffl, they don't need him on their line. If it's not broken don't fix it.
