Exactly my thoughts, we have enough depth (White + Bournival soon) to let him rest those shoulders.

I may be the only guy who's happy to see White over Prust. Prust is great and probably had his best game of the season against Colorado, but overall I think White has surpassed him this season. He's not the undisciplined kid taking dumb penalties anymore -- White's become a much smarter and more mature player.

Advantages he brings: He's younger and more durable than Prust, he brings the same physical element Prust does, he's one of our best players on faceoffs, plus he has great chemistry with his bud, Weise. White's still a young guy who appears to be improving and learning every season. He's a keeper, IMO, and with Weise and Moen, comprise the best 4th line we've had in ages.

White is also a fantastic penalty killer. Really didn't expect him to own it like he has this year.

Moen-White- Weise is still a fantastic 4th line, especially considering white and weises apparent chemistry

We need Prust come playoff time. We have enough players that can fill his role for the rest of the regular season. Rest is key. Especially if we have any intentions of making some noise in this years playoffs.

I am absolutely fine with White filling Prust's role this year. Last year that would have been a different story because Prust played a bigger role.

imo, it's his ribs again. remember in the playoffs when one popped out of the cartilage? extreme painful injury. may need surgery to address in off-season

In White, Weise, Moen and Prust you have four pretty interchangeable foot soldiers who all are a little better at certain parts of the game then others. A little healthy competition between them is not a bad thing and I like having all four of them in the lineup too. These kind of muckers can help you win a round or two in the playoffs. I still don't even mind Parros getting a game or two before the end of the year.

Damn, I had forgotten about that. Dislocations usually re-occur. :S That sucks. I'm surprised he didn't fix that in the last off-season. If he misses part or the entire playoffs because of that... Or if he plays injured... :/

Watching Brandon Prust play in playoff last year was cringe worthy. His body is a mess, it's unfortunate he's one of our most important forward when healthy...

This.

I love that Prust is a warrior...we all know it, but...

We need him to be as close as possible to 100% for playoffs (he has 3-4 weeks before playoffs to heal PROPERLY). Tired of him rushing back and not healing properly. We badly need him for the 4th line in playoffs (maybe even the 3rd line in playoffs since it gets really gritty).

Sometimes players like Prust and Gorges need to pulled out of action for their own benefit (and especially the team's benefit).

Our 4th line is full of depth...let White, Moen and Weise play (we even have Bournival who did so well with Weise and White...many options.... Prust has got to rest for **** sakes!).
Prust HAS GOT TO HEAL PROPERLY for playoffs.
(same with Gorges...he should not rush back unless it's game 1 of playoffs.......rushing back can **** everything up and make things worse....in the long run taking the proper time to heal is crucial to the player/team).

Gorges OUT to fully heal:
no problem...give more ice-time to Weaver, Tinordi, Bouillon, etc.
(that's why we have D-depth...for the purpose of resting the core).

Go Prust Go!! (heal properly...don't rush for **** sakes!).
Go Gorges Go!! (same as above!).

And, let's not forget...Bournival...super speedy and VERY trust-worthy defensively (and had major chemistry with White and Weise).

We have major 4th line depth...Prust has got to rest for the team. PERIOD.
Why come back too early only to be re-injured again...not smart.
Good to be a warrior but not if it's going to hurt you o

Losing Brandon Prust is a bigger problem than losing Gorges.
Isn't it funny how every year, we lose some key players going into the playoffs (or close to)
