Seems like a really good way to push price to early retirement.

It's called maturity. It takes time to reach.
Check his icetime leading up to his breakout. Same with Scheifele. It's interesting.

why? turnovers? or you mean 3rd and 4th lines

that vanek DD galchenyuk line was great last night

and now is the time to start pushing Briere into a bigger role imho anyways this is the time of year we supposedly got him for

Galchenyuk is the first step. Guys like DeLaRose and Vail are a couple of years away. They are even playing McCarron at centre in London.
McCarron doesn't look to be a top 2 line centerman. He's looking along the lines of a 3rd liner. There is usually high end talent in the first 5 picks. We need a 1st line center in such a bad way it's not funny. Can't trade for one or sign one. We'll have to draft one. IMO, it has to be a guy that is so blue chip that even we couldn't ruin his development.

There is something that is really bothering me form last nights game that no one is talking about.

Why was Brendan Gallagher taking the key offensive zone face off with 46 seconds left. It was the only face off he took the entire game.
I saw Briere go off and Gallagher come on and go right to the face off circle, I was in shock.

I know MT wants aright handed shot to take the draw from that dot but you would think that we must have better options for a draw we absolutely needed.

Stupid play by Tinordi, he always pull those stupid breakdowns out of nowhere....that being said Price had to stop that shot. I don't care how many saves he did before.

Still not a fan of Weaver, Bouillon should also sit. Bring up Beaulieu please.

Habs out hustled all game, Columbus took a dump on them and nobody gave a **** except Gally,Pacioretty and Subban. That set-up goal was just embarrassing.

Brutal PP after a glimpse of hope against Colorado, DD invisible against big teams. ( except when he turn over the puck in our own zone...****. )

A LOT of work need to be done, Habs have to win games against teams in playoffs mode like CLB.
