Brayden and Jake should be on the same line. Every time they're together it seems like something good develops.

Blues just outclass the Flyers because they have solid coaching and management who built a solid foundation. As opposed to our management, who tears foundation down every 3 years.
cool story, bro

Voracek needs to hire Jagr to learn how to skate the puck up and actually get a shot off instead of hitting the opposing players almost every time

Luke cleared the zone, Flyers turned it over while Luke was going for a change. Consequently he was on the other side of the ice so no it wasn't squarely on Luke. It was on the Flyer who lost possession in the neutral zone that lead to the rush.

Anyone else think they were about to call Hartnell for goalie interference?

Haha. Luke had time and space. He literally passed it to the blues to get it out of the zone. Are you kidding me?

He had to lead our team in blocked shots

Pretty dominant period by the Blues, but a Giroux post from maybe being up 1-0 instead of down 1-0.

Answer to trivia question is 3. I figured 2, but it was 3. First 3 years. 3 Stanley cup losses.

i would have guessed 3 just due to the weird way the question was asked.

seemed like 3 had to be the answer.

Tbf a special teams battle is the best chance the Flyers have of winning this game.

Flyers are an average EV team and a top 6-7 special teams team.

The Blues are a top 5 (2nd-4th best) EV team and a top 5 special teams team. (better than the Flyers, but the special teams gap is smaller than the EV one.)

Yep, there was that weird O6 vs Expansion setup and the Blues were the best Expansion team out of the gate.

Which at that point was akin to being the most capable Joe Schmoe from the stands volunteering to fight Mike Tyson in his prime.

Not a bad period by the Flyers, but that goal was not good.
