Spent my friday night watching the Hawks road to the cup in 2010. A good majority of the documentary was based on the final series versus Philly. And I could not believe how dominant Danny B was. It seemed like every goal the Flyers scored, he was responsible for. I hope to see that clutch player for us during the post-season. I'm feeling a good game from him and Patches tonight.

I think we will end up seeing this lineup as the game goes on if were not scoring,

Patches - DD - Vanek
Bork - Pleks - Gio
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher
Moen - Briere - Weise

Some players are odd like that. Re-watch when we went deep in 2010 was it ? Cammy was everywhere.

Man he would have not been so bad on our team right now.

Lol good point, I just took it off some website. No one seems to know that the Leafs' lines are going to be tonight. I'm still looking.

I follow many analytical Habs fans on Twitter and apparently, this line is being badly outplayed at even strength. Question is, does Therrien break them up because of their bad ES play (chances against, shots against) or does he keep them together, because while they may be outplayed, with one shift they can tie the game ( like vs Columbus)? Tough call, but I don't see MT as being a coach who follows advanced stats.

Alright, fixed the Leafs' lines. I think, they're all giving me different combinations over there...

Murray back in against one of the fastest top 6 in the NHL? Brilliant.

Puck possession will be big tonight. I know I'm captain obvious but its even more important tonight given that bouillon, weaver, and Murray are all in.

If the 4th line can establish that puck possession style, look for MT to use them often.

I understand the sitting out of Tinordi.

I just like the fact that we are playing against a fast forward squad that goes to the net and we have Bouillon, Murray, and Weaver.

Murray is the best at clearing the net. He just won't be up against the top 2 lines. I think with Tinordi's size and good wheels, he would of been more of a better fit.

Bouillon/Weaver Subban
Markov Emelin
Tinordi Murray

I think would of been better instead of Murray, Bouillon, and Weaver all in and I'm a fan of Murray.

This is nothing new... the Pac-DD duo is a minus rating even with gallagher and they suck donkey balls at even strength. All of their point come from the man advantage.

But but but DD make points in last 40 games... he is the best!!!

When Vanek was with Plekanec, they had an overwhelming percentage of possession, but no goals to show for it. This shows me that the only thing Therrien cares about is results. Tinordi make a stupid play and he's out of the lineup. If Price saves Johansen's shot, Tinordi's mistake is forgotten, he probably plays today. Therrien doesn't care about the how, only how many.

Thing about DD is he may suck defensively, but down by 1, he's probably the only centre on our team that can produce smthg consistently in order to tie it up.

Really pumped too for this game, it's a really important one tonight, we gotta start strong, pucks at da net

Habs - Leafs games aren't as insane as they used to be, but still could be a great one tonight!

Just for the souvenir:

That was when Habs played the Leafs on Thurday and Saturday, both games were at the Bell Center

We had a lot of Torontonians in MTL that weekend

Desharnais.. 6 points in five games but not hot because he's lucky, so only half of one point counts.

Mathieu Roy ‏@Le_Matheux

Why this particular style of "accountability" is whacky: if Price somehow makes a miraculous save, neither Tinordi nor Eller get punished.

Аrpon Basu ‏@ArponBasu

I've never been a young player in the NHL, but I'd imagine playing with fear that every mistake will cost you a lineup spot is not helpful
