what's your problem with Desharnais? Why do his points only count for half?

He's been pretty good recently

Hawkguy just loves to hate on DD. You should just learn to ignore his posts on the matter.

Thing about DD is he may suck defensively, but down by 1, he's probably the only centre on our team that can produce smthg consistently in order to tie it up.
Vanek played with Plekanec for 26 minutes and had more ES scoring chances than he ever did with DD and yet it still took 50 minutes with DD before he scored his first goal. But DD is the bestest and Plekanec suxors!!!

I have no problem with the benching of Tinordi. He made a dumb careless play that cost us the game. The only problem is that the defenders replacing him are not any better!

I'm not looking forward to see Weaver and Murray get trounced.

I actually worry about Reimer tonight because

1. He has a chip on his shoulder from playign poorly and being called out
2. He always plays well against Montreal

I sure hope they can beat him early and shake his confidence.

So Eller and Gionta salvaging the Ottawa game means nothing because DD scored.

Makes sense.

Bold prediction:

Galchenyuk ****s up a defensive assignment in his first game at center, and hf blames it on Bourque, Boullion or Gionta.

Puck possession and tempo. The Leafs are very fast on the rush, but can easily get caught out of possession which can lead to odd man rushes for the Habs.

But Therrien said he's expecting a tight checking game, so who knows.

MT is making quite a few changes from the line up that beat Colorado. All I know is that any time Bork is added to the lineup, it does not make the Habs better, makes them worse. Is it ok to basically call MT a dumbass?

Rather have White instead of Bourque playing.

Well Therrien decides to put him at center on the road, against a coach who likes to line match one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Expect him to play vs JVR-Bozak-Kessel all night.

Him,Bishop and Miller played so well against Montreal. For Miller isn't understandable but for the others.

I've never been a young player in the NHL, but I'd imagine playing with fear that every mistake will cost you a lineup spot is not helpful
tbf, Lars has been terrible a long while and Tinordi took Murray's spot when Murray wasn't even playing bad.

I hope none of you blame Alex if he loses almost every draw against Bozak and Bolland.

It'll be interesting to see if he can do anything playing with Bourque though ... that guy is brutal.

True, but just loved Kovalev on the half boards there always sniped on the PP. It was a pretty much guaranteed goal every time.

Oh man...those were some awesome days. I wonder if he would have continued to play like that had we signed him. (Do people remember the Gionta sign ahead of Kovy's decision?)

Even at the time, I was like, ok, maybe time to move on (after that horrid bruins series), but we really haven't seen anything like that since him. Vanek has had a good start, but a) do that against our rivals on a consistent basis and b) re-sign with us!! (well, sign rather)

Dat shift where he lost his glove, picked it up and scored...
