Thanks also for the ice cream pic, MSE.

Wow. I checked in at the end of the first and saw the 1-0 score. Thought to myself, "Got them where we want them!" Just got back in from work and saw the last 2 minutes.

I'm finding it pretty difficult being a pessimist right now!

I thought he was brilliant in all his interviews since coming to Philadelphia. Smart guy.

On a Blues side, Schwartz and Sobotka are going to be beasts in the playoffs.

We should tweet NHL about Coots for Selke. Who the F votes on that and how is he NOT in the top 3 - he is a 200' player, complete.

I don't know if the six minors is also a record (I kind of doubt it).

A bunch of sheep-like *******s who know nothing. They vote based on +/-, points, and reputation. Couts for Selke! Couts for every award ever!

It's basically the best two-way forward in the league award despite that not being the exact definition of the award so Couturier has no shot.

He likely get some votes to put himself in the top 10 but he won't be a finalist. Bergeron, Towes, & Backes will likely be the finalists.

What a great week of hockey.

I really thought St. Louis was going to hand it to us today - we always have a hard time against stingy, hard forechecking teams like them.

LOL, some interesting posts on the NHL Talk Forum with 2 appreciation threads regarding the Flyers (1 is about Coots).

Side note. Raffl extended for 2 years

Poor Downie, another concussion probably. I wonder how long he will be out. Vandevelde or McGinn will get the call up i suppose. Would be fun if they try a new guy out though

wouldn't mind seeing McGinn with 14 and 24, but we'll more likely see Raffl, which isn't a bad thing

Downie has been terrible. Shame he is out of the lineup due to injury but glad someone else might come in.

Schwartz looked real good today. He's scary with the puck. Good speed, too.

I will say that I used to expect the Flyers to win - with high hopes. After last season and the start of this season.. I started going into every game with the expectation that Flyers will lose.

Now - after the last series of wins, I believe again!!!!
