Why? Then bust Holmgren's chops for signing a unproven player. He did it right this time. Now get Amac and Brayden wrapped up. Now those two you do long term.

I hope MacDonald and his agent see it the same way, we do. Like to play for a succesful and well organized franchise with a great fanbase just to sign a reasonable contract. Of course, our winnig streak against top competition helps probably.

On the other hand, guy wants to be paid and you can't blame him when he never made more than 550k a year. Tough one for Homer.

With Coots progress to become a well-rounded 2C (yep I wrote it) and Laughton ready to play for the Flyers I wouldn't be upset if Schenn can be used in the off-season to upgrade the D.

I think its more of Laughton and draft pick for a D.

**** you raff!

Great signing. Such a solid player. Great find by the staff and great to get him locked up.

Agreed macd and schenn need to get 4 year deals. I know what's fair for macd, around 4.5 mill, but what's good for schenn? 3.5 would be good but don't think that's happening for 4 years

Solid signing for both sides:

Players get his raise and two more years with a great team.
Homer gets a two way contributor for peanuts...

Great news.

Raffl's puck pursuit is second to none, somehow his wavering paths seem shorter than straight lines. This is as cheap as you can expect to ink a player with that much IQ and tenacious skating ability. Good job Homeboy.

I love this signing.

But maybe it's because I've been conditioned to be used to spending 1.1 mil on backup goalies, career 4th liners, and worthless goons.

At any rate, I think this is a bargain.

Nice that we can laugh about that now, instead of cry.
