sometimes i think it would be almost as much fun to have an AHL team nearby….
Bobby Shea was suspended for 8 games. Nightingale was suspended for 6 games. Rockford has some more dirty players. Coach Ted Dent should be suspended too!

Felix Girard won the Guy Carbonneau trophy in the QMJHL as the best defensive forward.

I love this kid. Feisty. Don't take no ***** from anyone sort of attitude. Exactly what we need on this team.

If i remember right he won it last year as well. Could be a good 3rd line center one day.

Every comparison I've heard tags Leipsic as a Marchand-type. That would be so useful.

It does seem he has that cheeky-ness that can be so helpful. A lot of (not all) good teams have a guy like this. Marchand in BOS, Brown in LA, Gallagher in MTL....that type.

Good read on the game as well as catching up on some of the Ads prospects.

I miss those jerseys. They need to bring them back full time.

Another note. Austin Watson has 3 goals and 8 assists in his last 8 games. This coincides with his move to right wing and it sounds like he really likes it on the wing as well.

Is it too early to draft this kid?

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-pu...170535296.html

Great last line to the article as well

" NHL teams are already tanking for the 2024 Draft. "

Not sure. Milwaukee has him listed as a center if that matters, unless they plan on playing him at wing, but I would have thought Beck would have gotten the call if that were the case.

Any updates on Jon-Ismael Diaby?

I liked his profile early on. Big guys that can skate are so rare.

Can you imagine in 5 years facing a line-up of Weber, Jones, Ekholm and Diaby?

You forgot Josi, do you know something I don't

Anyways, on topic, Diaby looks pretty smooth skating and HUGE from the video I saw. I don't know what to make of him except the hopes that he is another mid round stud like we usually get.

This video is him warming up, where I said he looks smooth skating

No, Josi just doesn't fit the intimidating size factor that I was referring too. Josi is great though and will be a great defenseman for us, hopefully for a long time. I was only listing the guys with exceptional size.
