I think Miller will be called up soon if both forwards are out with the flu especially Stepan since he is a their best center...

A goaltender like him doesn't speak to anyone for hours before a game, has a whole routine that is followed the same way every single night. To uproot that, can negatively effect his game.

It's a RISK. Doesn't mean they can't win the game with him, but I would rather let Henrik enjoy the moment, without the added pressure of having to perform minutes after and having to adjust his entire mental state, and give Talbot the start and the time to prepare normally. 100% focus on the game.
Plus this isn't really a bad game to give to Talbot in general. I know he can, but do we really want Henrik playing 16 straight games before the playoffs in an Olympics year?

Neither Marty St. Louis nor Derek Stepan taking part in #NYR morning skate due to the flu..Both will be evaluated later in the day

Be safe. Isolate them. Don't let them infect the rest of the team

Is Haggerty a legit option though? What makes you think he gives us a better chance to win than some of our guys in the AHL? If both are out, I'd call up Miller and Fast:

Kreider-Brassard-Nash
Pouliot-Richards-Zucc
Hagelin-Miller-Fast
Boyle-Moore-Carcillo

Bad luck for St.Louis, maybe he should retire, he's been useless.

And Sather got robbed, I feel like we traded our captain for nothing. Cally has been a force for Tampa.

I always wondered if players literally get the flu. It seems like when someone' feeling under the weather that's what they call it. I think I literally had the flu once as an adult.

Why does everyone think that we got robbed because we traded Callahan? We had to trade him because of his outrageous demands and wasn't doing much here. We got robbed because of the picks if anything.

If Cally resigns and we dont make the ECF, the trade is Cally 1st and a 7th for MSL. Thats not really that bad of a trade. The overreaction on here is not surprising though

Yes, retire because he feels sick this morning.

MSL has been slumping but to say he's nothing? Holy ****.

Im pretty sure its not actually the flu. Hank gets "the flu" once a year and misses 2 or 3 games. Im pretty sure theyre just not feeling well. If they actually had the flu they wouldnt be able to move, let alone be a GTD to play in a hockey game.

Without Stepan and MSL we'd be looking at moving Boyle to center.

Kreider-Richards-Nash
Hagelin-Brassard-Zuccarello
Pouliot-Moore-Haggerty
Carcillo-Boyle-Dorsett

Yeah he should retire because he got the flu. So useless. Next time you're sick I hope whoever you work for calls you up and tells you to retire because you are useless.

Sather got robbed? I feel like you are overreacting over nothing.

So what? Practice isn't an NHL game. He has no pro experience with even the AHL. Why do they play him when there are better suited players in Hartford who can make it on time?
