I don't think its the goaltending that's the issue....
should be mentioned that Bernier has an .925sav% and Reimer .908 in 18 less games and Reimer has a 3.25 GAA

Oh how the tides have turned...
not needed in Edmonton, we already got rid of our Reimer in Dubnyk. Fasth and Scrivens are the tandem for next year unless something crazy happens and we cant pass it up, Reimer is not that. Then again with the ***** show that is the Oiler front office who knows.....

if he does It better be because we signed Hiller or Miller to be our number 1, so that Reimer takes over in a couple of years. I dont want him otherwise, we have too many rookie defenseman on the doorstep I dont want to ruin before they even get comfortable.

Reimer needs to go to Vancouver where they have a defense already in place, where he can build his confidence back up

Reimer has underperformed, there is no doubt about it, yet the way he has been scapegoated has been horrible. he slumped at the wrong time, but a better team would have been able to cover it up.

Bernier has a godly save % right now, but he's lucky that he got injured when he did, because he would have eventually suffered too.

If you take into account just how flawed a squad they are, then Leaf nation is demanding mid-to-late 90's Dominik Hasek level goaltending just to make the playoffs. The way the Leafs have been playing all season long has left no margin for error for the goalies.

You can't get away with giving up 35-40 shots on a consistent basis, it's just too much workload.

Every team goes at his glove and he over compensates to the detriment of his overall game. He's a mess right now and it's over for him in Toronto. He'll get another chance somewhere much like Scrivens did this year. Nobody is going to want Reimer as their 1 or 1A. He's going to have to get a job backing someone up and earn his spot to stay in the NHL. He's destined to be a fringe starter at best in the league. There's plenty of backups in the league who are just as good or better and we have a group of young goaltenders coming up that are going to push for several of those 60 spots.

You can literally flip a coin right now on whether he's even playing in the NHL next year.

Yeah, I'm sure people like you must be shocked that anyone gave Elliott another chance after his team hung him out to dry.

Reimer seems like a fit in Calgary.

That or the Islanders.
