Good news!

With as little national/Canadian exposure as the team gets, it'll be nice to hear the announcers gushing over "the youngster from Columbus".

Let's go, Nasher!!

IMO we get more exposure from the Canadian Media then the National US Media.

And I think we get as much as we should. You sound like a Preds Fan .

Oh, yeah well J-Bo should be there instead because Nash needed to go back to juniors as he only has 1 assist for every 3 goals he scores.

This could be Nash's big shot here....

...Let's get Dave Lewis to play him on the PK, you know he needs some time on it

Seriously, I just want everyone to see when Nash plays around some finishers and isn't the only one who can stand in front of the net, that he can pass the puck and get some assists.

Sound like a Preds fan???? Bite your tongue!

By exposure, I mean that we just don't get on the tube. Justly or not, CBJ games get no national audience.

Reading some of the general forums here at HF, one quickly gets the impression that many outside of Columbus have no idea where we are, much less how successful the team is at the gate,.....IMO, this market is the best-kept secret in the league right now.

Maybe the neglect just seems worse, because Minny has grabbed the league's fascination w/their run last year.

Perhaps DJ could address the Minny thing.........

Edit: for clarity---still a bunch of rambling, but better than before

Ya, that J-Bo sure is a hell of a winger. He should definitely replace Nash.

I could, but the profanity filter would get a workout.

Columbus doesn't get much national television coverage, sure. We get PLENTY of press though. From Canadian and American media. When you are the team with the leading scorer, that happens. Even in pre-season we had a lot of buzz.

Think back to Iginla's hot season a few years ago. No one in the US was playing Calgary games. Hell, they still aren't!! It's no Columbus consipracy, it's just that Disney only shows a few games and they try to stick with the big draws. Nothing unjust about that.

If you were trying to sell advertising for the games you'd feel the same, no doubt. Based on the performance of Nash this season and the buzz around Nicky (and the other youngsters) we'll get a couple of national games next season against the big ratings teams. If we continue to improve, or skate big scorers, we'll get more as the years pass.

Sorry, I thought you had to post that on every thread about Nash.
