Philly couldn't stay cold for too long and they're exploding. Everything is going for them.

Rangers offense is cold and MSL won't get it going. They're only offense comes from defense

NBC games usually start about 10 minutes later than the scheduled time.

That would be okay but this seasons it's been like a half hour later

Everything is more expensive in NY City. Add the professional sports thing, an already inebriated populace and there you go, its a perfect storm.

Your average Ranger game attendant is more affluent than your average Joe, so it's the perfect opportunity for some price discrimination.

It is.

Its the impact of less competition on a market. Outside MSG, vendors have to compete with prices of competitors. In MSG they can pick the price which maximizes the profit for them, even if it isn't the pareto-optimal solution for both vendor and consumer that you'd see if there was competition.

If, say, they let you carry your own beer in, the price would drop.

Besides, you don't want people drinking TOO much, and making beers $10 certainly helps prevent that!

NBC has it as the Bullies vs the Blueshirts. More like the Bullies vs the sissy's

That's another way of looking at it.

If MSG already sell out, they know high beer prices won't keep people away. If they think heavily drunk people will cause a problem and hurt business, that's another negative of cheap beverages they'd have to take into account.

Also, the less beer you drink, the more hungry you are for overpriced food concessions.
