Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh?

Which one of these teams would you rather have? All three are at the bottom of the league but they are all very young.

I picked Columbus. I would NOT pick Pittsburgh because their money situation is not good at all. I decided against Chicago because I wouldn't want Wirtz as my boss, but I realized afterwards that you said "have", which I'm assuming means owns. In that case I may pick Chicago because I think under a owner who isn't a **** like Wirtz Chicago could sell out more often then the other two and be more potentially profitable.

Chicago or Columbus seems like the only two possible choices to me if you mean "own". If this is GM'ing, then I'd steer far, far away from Chicago. Owning I'd steer far, far away from Pittsburgh.

Just my opinions.

Columbus. All three are pretty good young teams who have a good future IMO. Even as a Pens fan, I can't sit here and tell you I'd take my team over Nash, Zherdev, Denis, etc. Columbus does need some defensive prospects, IMO. That might start this year with Barker.

I'm just glad this post wasn't about which one should be contracted.

Wait till Ovechkin gets added.

As in all sports I believe defense wins championships in hockey. Look at New Jersey. On that note I'd take the Penguins, I believe the organization is building the right way from the goaltender out.

Fleury in goal. Orpik, Whitney, Welch on defense. Right now no other organization can beat the Pens with highly touted prospects in those positions. The lack of a true superstar may be a problem but the qauntity of potential 20 goal scoring prospects may be enough to overcome this, not to mention a top five pick in 04, and with the organization in the financial situation that they are a defensive team is more cohesive to keeping team payroll down.

Call me a homer, but I'd definitely have to say Columbus.

The team has been profitable to date, and has a new arena.

The CBJ are still drawing the crowds---3 sell-outs in the last 4 games, for instance---even though they're looking at another last-place finish.

The team is looking up, w/all the young talent MacLean and staff have put together.

Once things come together on the ice, the roof will come off Nationwide.

Definately not Pitt. I really don't believe there is any hope there. They will add a good player in this years draft, and they have Fleury but after that they don't have much else.

I voted for Chicago because with their group of prospects, the eventual return of Daze, the eventual return of Tbo, and the bounty they get for Zhamnov (I really think someone is going to overpay for this guy) they will probablely be pretty good in a couple of years. They definately need some defensive help mind you.
