I think this might have been the straw that broke the camels back. Any of those deflections by the rangers towards the end there would have gone in against them. Absolutley ****ing ashamed to be a rangers fan right now. Cant wait til we blow a 3-0 lead to montreal on tuesday.

Another middle of the pack off season. No playoffs and a project draft pick. That's why the Rangers have been stuck in the mud for 10 years.

What scrubs do we reallyl have to trade?

Props to a solid columbus team, a VERY strong norrena (sp?) who can only be faulted mildly on the 1st goal but otherwise played an AWESOME game...

SOLID team effort by the CBJ and well done for 2 SHG!

to the rangers: you f..ing suck...

Trade Malik, Rachunek and Roszival and bring up Baranka, Staal and Lampman and pretend it's preseason. I don't care what we get back if nothing else we'll open up a slot for new players. I also am of the opinion we should trade Nylander although I know people aren't gonna like that.

Sather and Maloney should be honest and try to trade as many veteran assets as they possibly can at the trade deadline. These guys got nothing and the playoffs are a dream.

WOW! This team is beyond pathetic. The d sucks, the forwards can't score and we've got no pride. I said it after the last loss but if this is how Jagr plans on carrying the team I wish he'd stop! Time to complete the rebuild started a couple seasons ago. I sure hope we are exploring the trade market for Jagr. While we are at it I hope that by Montreals game Malik, Rachunek and Roszival are in different uniforms. Enough of the same ol' crap!

Why doesn't renney just tell Avery to beat the **** out of players on the other team, no matter how many penalties he gets?

At least that way we'll have SOMETHING to cheer

Back up the truck. This team is utterly heartless. How you can be at this point in the season with every point being this important and consistantly get leads and fold up like a tent night after night, I just can't get. I want them all out of here. Keep Lundqvist, Girardi, Tyutin, and Prucha and Avery. Everybody else can get the hell out of town. As far as I'm concerned everybody else could be had by Tuesday. What a miserable effort. I feel like getting sick right now.

even though the season is more or less over (check out my blog for some projections later on tonight, rangers are gonna have to go something like 14-5-0 to make the playoffs as an 8th seed). I still call this season a success. Players like Girardi and Tyutin who continue to develop, and the guys in hartford who are playing great, just leave me with an optimistic view of the future.

Just a terrible loss. Henrik played his worst game since the Redwing disaster. All the talk Sather, Maloney, and Renney have said over the past 3 years about changing the culture of this orginization is just B.S. Nothing has changed, we still have a team that is built around veterens, who don't even show up for games. Well at least we get to look forward to another 10-15 overall pick which will probably be a disaster. Oh and to top that off we get to watch the Devils and Islanders in the playoffs again.

This team does not deserve the playoffs. Below 500 at home is disgraceful. Renney has overused the czechs and they have nothing left. I'd seriously explore trade possibilities for all players over the age of thirty
