I say play Dandy as a FORWARD. Scratch Lats and Perezhogin and play Murray.

isn't it easier to waive a player after the deadline? I think there is a rule were a waived player picked by an other pick can play with that team during the playoffs.

Good God I hope that's a joke.

Keep Kostitsyn, waive Murray/Downey and Niinimaa. Problem solved.

I think there may be a good chance that Nini will be traded. I'm sure SOMEBODY would want him.

And i hope you are not deniying the fact that he makes the team way better. The guy was our leading scorer last year for crying out loud... the Kovy bashing is getting out of hand...

no, see the kovy admiring is getting way out of hand. He is lazy and he doesnt care. he has his airplanes, his cup ring, his family, and his money. He couldnt care less about the Habs. And I dont feel he makes the team way better. All of his points come on the PP. Look at how good the PP has been without him. At the salary he makes he is a horrible person to have on this team, and I feel he brings down the whole teams chemistry, and I am countign down the days until either he is traded or his contract runs out.

I agree.

Howeever, I get the feeling that Carbo reunites the Samso-Pleks-Kovy line.

I wanna see Kosty-Pleks-Kovy line...I am also glad to have Rivet in the lineup over Cube HOPEFULLY...But who knows what Carbo does on the backend.

This is nonsense. This team is clearly not better without him and we are witnessing it. I said it many times, the team shouldnt build around him but hes a good player to have on a winning team. Keep counting my friend...

I hope that sitting out a few weeks will do wonders for Kovy both physically and mentally and he can come be revigerated for the stretch run and help Saku lead the way.

If he is dumb enough, he should be fired right away, mid game. As soon as they take a shift together.

agreed 100%.

Some fans are just never satisfied. Ive said this before that just because Kovalev doesnt smile when he scores or lift his little arm...people start saying he doesnt care.

i dont really know whats going through his mind but its not because someone isnt an extrovert that he has no emotions. Ive never seen a russian player that is expresive. well maybe Pavel Bure.

The first people we bash are the russian, like ive said before, i agree they are very highly paid and should produce more, but this is a team failure, not 2 or 3 players. Its not one or two player that will get us out of a slump, the whole team has to work together, and we have seen that when that works, every player looks like a superstar.

Mark my words...Kovalev will score a couple of goals...smile here and there...wave his stick in the air when he scores and all of a sudden everyone thinks he has tons of heart.

Honestly? what makes me think this guy has heart is all the things he does outside the rink......i felt ashamed when i saw him explaining rumors of him faking that elbow injury. How well do we appear to the players if we talk like this. If we take his word for it (which i believe) he was playing injured for a while.......It has happened before with Kovy, explain to me how just that fact doesnt show lots of heart.

Im not expecting anything when he comes back, and none of us should. Lets ease off the pressure as much as we can, and let the boys play. Although i want Kovy to unleash hell....hehehe
