You and I both, I can't compute why someone especially a Flyers fan would say something this dumb,

You have to admit Couturier isn't worth much because he only scores in blowouts and never hits the net. It's probably the alcoholism and adultery.

He bit off more than he could chew in a fight against Mike Brown last year & got his orbital bone broken, he hasn't been the same since at least when playing up with the Flyers.

he has looked good since his recent call up. He looks like he has a bit more speed than previously.

Hockey fans are extremely soft for a group of people who thump their chest about toughness when comparing to other sports, example the Rinaldo/Iginla thread on the main boards.

Good game. Flyers are much better than Pittsburgh, you guys have a good team, kept things close the whole game. No whining, no dives all around good hockey.

I love how everytime Rinaldo wins a fight or throws a hit it turns into a massive debate on the main board.

Man what will they do when Rinaldo leaves and is replaced by Goulbourne?

What if Rinaldo stays and we have a Rinaldo-C-Goulbourne 4th line?

We deserved the win, managed a point. More than I expected.

Brayden Schenn is a complete waste of space. He is the most ridiculous hockey player I've ever seen. So much supposed ability but a drain on his line every night. Highlights include frequent chest snipes, 5 yard passes going 100mph and an incredible ability to lose every board battle he enters.

I'd trade him tomorrow, he's useless.

Goulbourne will be a better fighter but less of a pest than Rinaldo.

Your hatred of Brayden is out of hand.

He's so useless that he's 2nd to G on the team for most GWG. He's also 3rd on the team in ES goals and 4th in ES points (2 behind Simmonds for 3rd) while getting the 6th most ES minutes among forwards. Only G, Jake, Simmer and Hartnell have more overall points and notice all of those guys are on the 1st pp unit. If he had 90 more pp minutes (to be approximately equal with the aforementioned in that department) while playing with Giroux I'm sure he would be around the 50 point mark right now. He produces, you can't ignore context.

He has holes to his game, no doubt, but he's 22.

Don't even worry about that sort of negative hyperbole.

BSchenn is an inconsistent young player, but has been great at times this year and is producing well given his limited ice time.

What should happen is the same thing that I've been saying for months and has only been reinforced in my mind over the past few games. Schenn needs to move to the 1st line LW, Hartnell to 2nd line LW, and Vinny to 2nd C. Schenn needs to play with players like Giroux and Voracek because he's just not great with puck possession and can't carry a line. Vinny is only effective at C so put him there.

I doubt they will do that now, but if BSchenn and Vinny are still here to start next season then they need to make that move and stick with it.

Extra Skater ‏@ExtraSkater 3m

Couturier spent 11 of 16 5-on-5 mins against Krejci-Lucic-Iginla. Couturier: +2% CF% rel. BOS top line: -10% or worse

He won't be scoring any more goals without a head.

Couturier made a quick recovery after Timonen intentionally bled on him. A bit also dripped on his chin, but Couturier has too much of a baby face to grow any facial hair.
