@craigcustance: Wild have agreed to terms with college UFA defenseman Christian Folin (UMass-Lowell). Was most coveted college UFA on the market.

If the Wild had a legit starting goalie, they would be a very scary team. Their puck movement is really impressive.

Might as well hand them the Cup. There's no stopping them now.

In all seriousness though it is kind of crazy that they still have someone that can at least keep them somewhat in games with all the goaltending injuries they have.

Yeah Bryz is a good fit for them too. They'd probably be a lot higher in the standings if Harding wasn't out with his MS...or if Backstrom wasn't made of glass.

Or if they weren't 6th worst in the league in scoring.

That too. They've looked great offensively tonight against the team that allows the fewest goals per game in the league. I guess they struggle to do that consistently.

Every team goes against the standard once in a while. For example, the Oilers won a game this season

Dude, but like everyone in their top 9 is better than Couturier! How the **** did they pull out another losing season? Either the officials really hate them, they're playing without a goaltender, or someone is fibbing slightly.

Couturier wouldn't help because he doesn't produce enough

Yeah exactly, how do you play against the opponents worst lines, on the 1st pp unit, with offensively focused linemates, and only have 30ish points?!?!?

That goose egg on PP production is looking pretty awesome right now to those 7 teams that wisely passed up on him.

Exactly, it's time to admit the guy's a bust. Time to trade him with a bad-decent prospect for someone like Yakupov (we'd obviously add a couple 1st round picks).

Glad Folin stayed out West after we didn't get him.
