i'm going to be pissed if the rangers don't cash in on the ridiculousness going on right now

can't wait till we hear about all those juicy offers made for nylander and others after the deadline, only to still have him here

i would think Nylander could net us a first and a B level prospect. maybe even more. these prices are just insane. Besides, Nylander might be one of the 5 best passers in the league. if he shot more hed have 30 goals right now.

Okay...they went on a Slump. Oh i wonder why...Because we were a One line team. If we could get Shanny the Puck without Splitting up that line then we probably wouldnt be talking about Trading Nyls for a Pick.

But im not going to Bicker about who we should trade and what not in here. So back to Non-Ranger Trades!

according to Eklund Souray may be on the move.

hes a guy i wouldnt mind seeing on this team as long as we can move a veteran defenseman back as well.

Okay, a poster on the Trade Rumors board said that Team 1040 is reporting that it is now Jason King and a second-round pick to Chicago for Smolinski. Awaiting an official link...

Yea I wouldn't mind him, but I don't want to trade for him. He's a UFA at the end of the season. Rather get him for free.

The teams that Souray is rumoured to go to are the Sharks, Stars, and Tampa

Noah Welch reportedly offered for Roberts.

so what's the deal with Eklund? Nobody questions him now? Or is he the Santa Claus of trade deadlines. Every other day, he's just a myth.

i think Nylander is also about a 1st and B prospect but probably a B-/C+. Then again, Sather has pulled some doozies in the past. He's no Tkachuk, but a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, and the thrasher's defacto 2nd line center in Metropolit (Rucchin injured)? that was a lot. i doubt other GMs will over pay like that.

GMGM seems to be a bit busy today. Wonder what he has in store for Zubrus and Heward.

does everyone remember when we called up Nycholat a few years back and he proceeded to put on one of the worst displays of Hockey I have ever seen

EDIT: Nevermind (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=197807&hubname=nhl)

I don't think these moves make Vancouver that much more of a contender...

For those of you that piss & moan about Sather and his tenure you need look no further than down here in Atlanta and look at what a GM who is on the hot seat will pay to save his J O B. a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and another 1st if Tkaczuk resigns, OUCH!

Plus the deal for Coburn! Waddel is not even talking cup, his primary concern is just making the playoffs! He's gone out and stripped away 1 prospect and 2 1st round picks plus a 2nd & a 3rd.
