Basically anything Larry wants - means I'd go the other way.

Keep the kids in Hartford. They are better off there than in New York right now.

haha

Just curious, as season ticket holders for the rangers.. do you get your money back if they dont make it? Or do the push the funds towards the upcoming seasons tickets?

Prucha for Norstrom?

I'm not so sure on that one. I think Prucha has more value then a rental. If I'm not mistaking Norstrom is a UFA at season's end

Don't know about 2--unless the new CBA bans it, teams can trade for players currently on the IR--Rangers did it back when they traded for Todd Harvey. Although, I'd doubt any team would trade for a player one week removed from a concussion.

I don't know the rules. That's why I was non-commital. The CBA is seriously confusing.

You have a choice - refund or apply to next year. IMO it's easier to apply the funds towards next year as it takes the bite out of the full price.

I think a lot hinges on Prucha and where he plays.
Me neither. Dupuis is very weak on the puck down low, he got nothing to put up once he reaches the endboards, he is pretty weak on the circle. He is good on the rush, but IMO he defenitly shouldn't be brought back, Korpikoski could do what he does and more next season, and on a 3rd line Korpedo will get plenty of oppertunity to keep developing.

I like Dupuis as long as he is not stopping someone from HFD who's ready. I need more time to be sure but to me he's like a faster, more skilled Jed Ortmeyer. Dupuis hits more than I thought, certainly more than Hall did. J-O's missing of the net is getting to me.

As for Nylander, I gotta think that Cullen has raised Nylander's price tag a bit. Nylander is a good value now. Looking at the market I think it's fair to say he somewhere between Cullen ($3M) and Gomez ($5M).

It would be nice if some of the local beat writers would be able to shed some light into what the Rangers are planning. Some of them know less than we know

I think your wrong there Singin, Doug Weight was traded at the deadline last year and resigned with the Blues. Same for Recchi and the Pens.

Weight had a history and an understanding. Ditto Recchi. Not sure there is that with Shanny.

Mattias Norstrom would be a great aquisition if this team was going somewhere. But to bring in a player at his age and salary with the current state of the team is just moronic, and at the price of prucha...

I usually look forward to the trade deadline..but at this point, I'm praying it just passes by without seeing the Rangers make a move because if they do it will be a bad move.
