This is a fun mock draft game to play. It allows you to trade up/down and gives you a grade for each pick as well as an overall grade

Here is one that I just did (didn't want to trade picks because it could get a little unrealistic)...

Round 1 Pick 12: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh (B+)
Round 2 Pick 11: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington (A-)
Round 3 Pick 10: Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 4 Pick 13: Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas (A)
Round 5 Pick 12: Andre Williams, RB, Boston College (A)
Round 6 Pick 11: Michael Sam, DE, Missouri (B+)

Tough to judge how good of a draft this would be considering we are probably not done signing guys but as of now I would be happy with this.
I've been playing this a lot since you posted. Just had my best simulation yet when I traded down with Arizona in the first round. If Reese gets anything close to this I'd be so thrilled:

Round 1 Pick 20 (ARI): Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina (A)
Round 2 Pick 11: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota (A)
Round 2 Pick 20 (ARI): Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 10: Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington (A)
Round 3 Pick 20 (ARI): Joel Bitonio, OT, Nevada (B+)
Round 4 Pick 13: DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State (A)
Round 5 Pick 12: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers (B+)
Round 6 Pick 11: Phillip Gaines, CB, Rice (A)

Wow what a draft. I'd like an interior lineman and a de somewhere in there, but that looks great.

I love that the jets signed Vick because it gives me yet another reason to root for the failure of that franchise.

Idzik loves competition. He will stock the team with young and hungry ballplayers. Cheap too. Idzik isn't wrong about his stance on free agency. The majority of the players signed this March will be cut within 2-3 years. Bill Polian went back and looked at free agency in 2010 and 2011. Half of the players signed had already been released by their teams.

So, it seems like Ebron had a ****** pro day. Not sure how that will influence the Giants's decision or anything. It kind of sucks to hear, but it is what it is.

The pick may end up being Donald, now.

Just to changed the subject on Vick Jet fans should be happy for the draft. jets have 12 picks in the deepest drafts in years. 3 4th rounders and 4 6th rounders. Obviously 6th round picks are not for impact players the jets still have a oppurtunity to load up on depth

6th round definitely can produce impact players. NFL is a different type of animal. A lot of players find success with hard work.

I understand that which is why i said usually but not always. There have been a good amount of late round picks that have turned into good players. The jets have a good amount of middle of the pack picks and late round picks that could really help the team depth wise and even better possibly

I don't think that's Idzik's M.O.

Competition at every position is his mantra. The more picks he has, the better for that philosophy.

Maybe he trades a pick for Desean... that's about all I can see.

Jets not one of the 9 teams to contact Jackson.

Doubt we get him. Plan is to get players via the draft and build the team for the future. Who knows what Jackson wants and if the F.O wants that personality around young players who they're trying to mold a certain way.

Looks like there's going to be a ton of competition for starting spots on the Giants this season. Hopefully that works out, in theory it should give them pretty good depth.
