Yes it would.

I like this. A lot. But Gorges should be back soon, hence one will need to sit. Tinordi is my guess.

I'd still like a Markov-Subban pair for 28 minutes a night.

What would be good pairings after that? I'm not sure about rhd and lhd.

Markov-Subban: 28 min
Emelin - Gorges: 18 min
Beaulieu/Tinordi - Weaver/Bouillon: 14 min

So that helps you for a week, then what?

Playing d-men 28 minutes a game is a recipe for failure.

Markov-Emelin
Beaulieu-Subban
Tinordi-Weaver

Any other line up is wrong, WRONG!

When Gorges comes back you take out Tinordi and play him with Weaver at the top PK unit and the lowest ES minutes.

It's ideal, but would make too much for sense for JJ and Michel.

It's Therrien so for all we know he might replace Subban with Brolieu to keep his boy Frankie in the line up.

The NHL Head Office conspired to give Murray only a 3 game suspension so Beaulieu doesn't stay up too long.

Therrien is dumb but he has never scratched Subban while more "favored" players like Diaz and DD have gotten a cozy night in the pressbox. And Frankie too.

Yeah cause Bouillon has never been scratched this year and Subban has.

I like your thinking here. In fact I'd even try:

Markov-Subban
Emelin-Gorges
Beaulieu-Weaver (or Tinordi/Weaver)
Bouillon #7

Let the young guys alternate with a veteran like Weaver. He knows the right way to play and can help them. Then one night they can both play. Beaulieu-Tinordi could very well be a tandem.

I believe he will. Unlimited roster now, but limited call ups.

I would rather give pateryn a few games .. They already know what Beaulieu is able to do.

Habs are a better team with Nathan in the line up. Play the kid. He is a plus 10 in 22 NHL games.

Great news. Bad news is that Murray will come back.....and Bouillon will still play. Therrien will most definately go back to his vets in no time.

Which is exactly why they chose him and not Pateryn. They're still fighting for home ice. Only scenario where Pateryn would make more sense is if they were out of the playoffs or so far into first place that it didn't matter.

Once Gorges is back

Gorges-Subban
Markov-Emelin
Brolieu / Tinordi if NB struggles -Weaver

Works for me

Emelin is Markov's partner. Maybe they both want to play together...
Plus Beaulieu on the right. Won't happen at this point.
We can expect coaches to try multiple players but you should see them at their position with PO in mind.
