Question - 1991 draft - Lindros

Was reading the recap of the '91 draft at NHL.com and read the part about Lindros having been dealt to two teams, the Flyers and Rangers, and an arbiter had to cut through the BS to determine the Flyers' deal was binding.

Anyway, it doesn't mention who the Rangers were giving up for Lindros. Anybody remember?

Something along the lines of
Beezer, Nemchinov, Kovalev, Amonte, and picks + cash. Maybe it was Zubov instead of Nemchinov i'm not sure.

Sweet baby Jesus... glad Todd Bertuzzi's uncle ruled in favor of Philly.

Subsequently, both franchises who came out of the ordeal free of Lindros went on to win Stanley Cups.

The three #1's were spread over five years and if VBK refused to report to Quebec,James Patrick was going to Quebec as his replacement

Bertuzzi ruled in favor of the Flyers because Quebec refused to allow any other club to speak with Lindros. When the Flyers and Quebec came to an agreement,Quebec allowed the Flyers to speak with Lindros.Jay Snider wanted to make sure the Flyers could sign Lindros(there was no rookie cap back then). The Rangers didn't feel any need to speak with Lindros because they really didn't care how much Lindros wanted.Quebec traded with both teams

I would have thought about trading all that for Forsberg back then!
