Someone offering me Phaneuf and Semin for Malkin...Should I do this trade ? and what the potential of Phaneuf ? thank you

Turn it down, Phaneuf is a solid defenseman but not nearly the offensive force he was last year. Malkin will put up a tonne more points. Bad trade for you.

ignore the troll. he doesnt know what he is talking about... the kid thats "not the same offensive force as he was last year" is on pace for 1 more goal and 5 more points than last year

Phaneuf has more goals in the last 2 seasons than any other defenseman in the NHL... he still occasionally defensively like all young d-men

and if you are getting Semin in teh deal as well... definately go for it

Well Phaneuf is scoring at a higher rate than he was last year, which means he's overachieving, he'll never put numbers up like this again, he's reached his plateau, its only a downward spiral from here on out.
