Not all fans cheer for teams as bad as the Leafs.

Bottom line is that that team had no business being near a playoff spot. As much as I've ripped MT, Toronto is on a whole other level of defensive incompetence.

I'd love to see Beaulieu play 10-15 minutes of soft competition that Murray was getting. Sure he makes mistakes but not much more than Murray/Boullion. Unlike those two, he makes the team better offensively 5 on 5 by his ability to skate the puck out and keep the play alive in the offensive zone. As much as people will disagree, defensively I don't see the vets any better.

Ovechkin scores his 49th, his first goal at even strength in 16 games! I would rather have Pacioretty and his 36 goals and 10 game winners

Just watched the Blackhawks winning goal, judging by the fans' reactions you'd think someone died in there. Worst thing that could happen to Columbus

They still have very odds of making it.

man... that sucks for the Jackets. But the Devils move into a tie with the Leafs now.

BJ get scored on with 0:04 left in regulation... Ref blew his whistle by mistake at the end of the game. Ref decides that ensuing face-off in Columbus zone. Goal. Columbus fans not too happy...

Where the hell did the Devils come from.

I still think Leafs make it though. East is just too crappy to put them away.

NJ has the easiest schedule followed by Toronto and Colunbus has a hard one so NJ might sneak past these two teams

Testament to how bad some of the other teams have been, when 4W-6L in your last 10 gets you back in the equation.

So its Columbus, NJ and TO in celebrity death match. Man the Jackets must feel like crap now. A win tonight would've been huge.

Toronto has easy teams to play against.

It's why I find it funny so many hab fans are writing them off already.

You should wait until they're officially out. Prevents you from looking like an idiot.

So Mike Ryder has scored 1 goal in his last 30 games for the Devils. According to the thread on the mainboard anyway.

Actually I wouldn't mind if the Leafs get the last wildcard and play the Bruins in round 1 again. I think I'd rather watch the Leafs and Bruins than the Bruins and Jackets in round 1 TBH.

Both Columbus and Toronto like to play that hard hitting game, so it would be a very good series.

wow ..that's horrible...1 goal in last 30 for Ryder??

We should offer them Bork for Ryder in the off-season. Ryder has 1 year left, Bork 3.

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Vanek
Bournival-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Briere-Plekanec-Ryder
Moen-White-Prust
Weise/Eller

Wings could easily win out, they've now won 4 in a row, Datsyuk is back, and Nyqist is a monster right now.

That means Habs need at least 3 points in their last 4.

Now go look at Habs schedule. Wings, Hawks away, Isles with nothing to lose the next night, and Rags last game. 3 points are not guaranteed.

I'm just not assuming 2nd or 3rd is a lock. Media should not either. And tomorrow's game is huge.

Then again, if Wings catch us, we play Pens.

A win against Detroit tomorrow and they can't catch us anymore

How is Ryder an improvement over Bourque at this point? I would much rather see us trade Bourque for a pick and/or prospect to free up some cap space.
