Good:
- The 3-0 comeback
- Pax-DD-Vanek line

Bad:
- Budaj
- Gal-Plek-Gal line. In the past few games, it seems that they haven't clicked.
- Tinordi: he made some mistakes. I really think that Beaulieu is better, at time being.

I think Subban showed his true colours tonight.

Had a rough 1st, was on for 2 goals, one where his man scored on soft coverage. He sits for a bit, doesn't play a lot, goes -3...but when the score is 5-3 you see him on the bench with a huge smile joking around. I love that.

Great to come back from 3 down against the Walrus and his band of chicken fairies. Smith and Neal are the biggest panzies in the NHL, they all want to fight Gallagher or Galchenyuk but the minute Parros is on the ice, they shrink to 5'1" and 95lbs and show their pea sized testicles.

Tinordi is still a bit rough around the edges, but he has big time upside. I thin k he has the potential to eventually be a #2 or 3 on a top contender. A big mobile beast with a mean streaks and smarts. Hes still 2-4 years from that, but the potential is there.

just did it ... 2.79 goals against average without him in 14 games and 2.49 with him in the lineup

Back to the game...
Anyone notice how Briere invisible as he was for most of the night.
Came up with a couple of poison plays that led to a goal Max and a near miss (Eller)
Thats how he has a career PPG in the playoffs
Smoke and Mirrors...

Apparently Vincent Damphousse was saying on L'Antichambre that it's all a show, "PK knows where the cameras are..." Can't believe we almost had that idiot as our GM.

...so the Sens fans have already taken to the streets and are crying bloody murder that the Neil goal was waved off and that's what cost them the game and a playoff shot...my God, they're becoming Leaf fans quickly...

oh wow that's not that much a difference. mind you 2.49 over a span of 50 or so games is pretty impressive. I think the amount of games skews it a bit.

i still think that our D was just starting to gel just before Gorges went down and we were like only letting in like a goal a game for like 20 games or so before his injury.

i think he'll be a huge help

Does that mean they will be pulling for the wings against us tomorrow night too?

Yeeah I agree, I really liked the blue line just before the olympics with Beaulieu and Murray as the bottom pairing.. now switch Murray for Weaver and that's even better!!! We have the players, especially since Emelin has found his game again, we just need consistency and that's on the coach... He has to stick with the pairings and let them find their chemistry.. but enough with the Bouillon/Subban stupidity.

I am getting very close to believing everything PK does is for show, the interview he did tonight seemed very phony to me and not genuine. There may be a reason he is getting benched so often??

No worries Emelin hurt?? Where did you hear that? Eller was effective, I thought his line did pretty well overall with Brière and Gio, nothing flashy, but they were pretty solid.

Interesting chart. Can see that after the Habs' 3rd goal there's clearly a break and the Sens' shot gradient gets much steeper than the Habs'. IMO, this has to do in part with the fact that the Sens at that point start feeling the pressure very heavily and don't want a repeat of last game so they start firing more but lower quality shots on goal with desperation in their minds.

He'll be here.
If Therrien thinks Habs choose him over Subban, think again. If Habs have a crap first series and get eliminated, perhaps because Therien is messing with Subban's head instead of supporting him, Therrien will already be on the bubble next year.

Unbelievably bad psychology and player management. Almost as bad as Carbo.

Didn't notice, but yeah he plated 21 minutes and was there up until the end of the game so no worries I guess!

PK is was and always will be an entertainer it is part of his persona.
The coaching staff hasn't clued in to the fact that it isn't necessarily a bad trait.
They are too busy trying to beat it out of him.
What they should be doing is making him aware that hockey fans love a great defensive play as much or sometimes even more than a great offensive one.
That in fact they find it just as entertaining.
There by using and channeling his natural energy in a positive fashion.
We'd all be seeing a different PK.

Yes, Subban won the norris last year "for the show".

not at all entertainers are role players.
they have PK playing the wrong part.
bad casting if you will.
as for being phony most entertainers are.
but i don't think PK puts himself before the team.
