Nope. Firstly, we only play Brashear 4x. Secondly, I am more worried about playing Crosby, Staal, Malkin, Gomez, Gionta, Brodeur, Gagne, Carter and Pitkanen
Laraque , Jannsenns , Foduruk & Brashear 8 times next yr ?
Not really. We'll still have Orr and Hollweg around, and possibly a Dane Byers in the mix as well. Jessiman possibly . And I'd hope that we add a tough, gritty stay at home type Dman in FA. We'll be fine, I think. Above poster said it all.... Staal, Crosby, Malkin et al worry me more.
Did you see Montoya in that fight? He was getting slapped around like one of the three stooges. He's no Emery in that regard. He should concentrate on stopping pucks, because he sure wasn't stopping any punches.

Sure he was! He was stopping those punches with his face!

Really? Well wake up because believe it or not this team has some pretty good skilled players as well. But they remain one of the softest teams around...
I wouldn't say I'm worried. I think if we can add Souray it really would solve a ton of problems. Also...depending on who else we sign...those enforcers can be handled. Laraque will beat anyone without question....I'm more excited to just see the east get back to being a physical conference

I completely agree with this...though hopefully Gomez will be playing for us next year...I do find it quite funny that no Islanders were mentioned though

You'll see why next week when Sean Avery takes care of Brendan Witt.
It will be a challenge, especially if Philly stays on their route.
But its also a good posibility, I defenitly rather go up against teams like NJD (extremely diciplined) or a potentiall really tough Philly on a regular basis, then to face them unprepaired in a PO's.
Orr is a good fighter... A lot of people on hockeyfights com who even hate the Rangers consider him top 10. And now he's back to fighting like it which is nice.
Brash just beats him because he's bigger and stronger. Laraque would do the same.. That said, Orr is good becuase he can really beat up on guys like Janssen and Fedoruk or whoever else Philly manages to put out there.

Also keep in mind that whoever trades punches with Orr usually loses because of Orr's strong punches. Brash is usually a hugger however against Orr he is always a hugger. Brashear would get dropped if he opened up and traded with Orr, thats why the fights are hugfests(But I gues at least 95% of Brashear fights are like that)
03-04...Simon could play but also had no problem tracking down an opponent for retribution...16 fights...
The saddest part was how he was wasted, riding shotgun and protecting old lumpy head himself, Mess with Barnaby. Too bad, Simon and Barnaby looked MUCH better w/ Lindros and Eric would of appreciated the extra muscle.
