Vishnevski in, either way.

the injuries list were taken from the tennessean preview page. if there is a better source please do tell.

oh i see. another case where the tennessean contridicts itself(and again it is the same writer in a different story).

will update.

Hopefully Vishnevski has another game like he did last time vs the Sharks and cements his spot in the lineup once and for all.

And hopefully Forsberg, who has shown flashes, goes off.

Will be an interesting matchup, especially now that they've got Guerin.

Another reason why I refuse to read The Tennessean.

you know why I am nervous about tonight?

SJ hasnt been a great team lately, and we have a tendency to be slumpbusters sometimes.

Ugh, no Sullivan, Hamhuis or Hartnell for one of the biggest games of the year. Also, Cleanup on line 3.

Not to mention San Jose should be rejuvenated with adding a star like Guerin. What a solid pickup for them.

Without Hamhuis, we better hope we don't take a penalty tonight. We shouldn't be taking penalties regardless due to their powerplay but not having Hamhuis hurts that much more.

All signs point to a loss tonight. Road trip, we play bad this time of year, we never play good in San Jose, injuries, we need a win due to the fact that Detroit isn't going to lose from here on out...

We gotta get rid of this 'glass is half empty' mentality

Cmon guys this is gonna be a good match up. Even with the injuries I think our guys are going to come together and actually play 60 minutes for this game.

I call it honesty

We've had a good season so perhaps the team can use this to motivate themselves into overcoming things tonight.

This should be a nasty game, but we need to win it. I predict a 5 to 3 final......

We really need Forsberg and Kariya to step it up big time. Erat looks out of place on that line really. Arnott and Dumont have looked lost without Sullivan. Legwand can try to work his magic and make Tootoo and Fiddler effective (good luck there).

With Sully out until who knows when and Hartnell gone for almost the rest of the season, we have to get our guys to step up. We really only have one scoring line right now. We got by against somehow Detroit and Columbus doesn't count (no offense to our friends in cbus).

I think its time to put Erat & Legwand back together & leave Kariya & Forsberg together ... switch up some grit for those lines and pray we win tonight

Doubtful. Didn't Guerin play with Thornton in Boston?

Vokoun has been good against the Sharks lately, though. Thats a positive.

Stranger, where are you seeing that Hamhuis is out for sure? I thought he was questionable with the flu?

Hammer's a gamer. I think he'll play tonight. Maybe go with seven d-men and reduce his time a bit.
