Why are we playing Lundqvist today? Against the Sabres? After clinching a playoff position?

I understand we want home ice, and I'm not normally an advocate of starting Talbot too much, but this would have been the perfect game for Talbot to start, face a low end team, get the win and give Lundqvist a final game off before the post season.

The Dolan family is worth like $3.6 billion dollars. Buy the team an alarm clock so they know when home games start.

A shot on goal would be really nice.

@Montreal is a much better game to start Talbot for, imo.

Ahhh, I didn't realize our last game was against MTL in the Bell Centre. Definitely don't want Lundqvist to get rocked there and shake his confidence. I can understand that.

That said, Lundqvist is going to be "the guy" in the post season. If we go deep, and we meet MTL, he may need to win a game or two at the Bell Centre.

Such lousy starts lately, may not be able to get away with that against playoff teams.

Sure, but there's a lot more to lose starting Hank in Montreal at this point than there is to gain, imo.

Either Jesper Fast is wearing a velcrow jersey or the Sabres have gotten away with like 5 holds on him.
