I thought MAYBE the "emergency" conditions were that the Make A Wish Foundation was helping Shay Stevenson achieve his goal of wearing an NHL uniform during the regular season Sorry it had to be Kopitar. Still, it gives us a chance to see another guy who in 2 or 3 years will be the kind of footnote that the above list helped recall.

I'm disappointed he's wearing 22 instead of his training camp 60. I always like guys who wear unusual numbers.

Yeah, like Rene Chapdelaine's sweater number 63. Give us more obscure numbers dammit!

Why not call up Moulson and Gauthier, and put Zeiler back with em to see how they do in the NHL? It'd keep their chemistry together and they can be the 4th line. Shay never came across as being an option for LA. whatever

according to AHL transactions, Dany Roussin's been recalled, and Petiot's been added to the Monarchs' roster today.

i'd guess that Petiot will get a few minutes here & there, just to start, to get him back into game shape. Roussin's likely to be Shay's "replacement". his stats in reading were dismal...

With guys like Stephenson being recalled, I'm glad I don't have season seats.

Jackman, Tukonen, Moulson, hell, even Crosty would have been a better option in a game agaisnt the Ducks.

Don't you remember the horrible controversy over whether to take it out of retirement and allow Brad Norton to wear it????

I was about to start a thread asking, who is this guy? glad someone already did

I saw his name on Yahoo but there was no news link or info about him. apparently he's #60, that's all I know

#22? damn

scrubs shouldn't get to wear real numbers. that's becoming the jersey # of choice for retreads. first Conroy, then he left, then Ward, now Stevenson. equipment need to put a stop to this. cut it out - it's confusing
