Comrie at LW?

Could he play LW?

Comrie Hrdina Doan (next season, w/the homer line back together)?

all indications are that Comrie has not fit in well on the wing in Philli. I'm quite excited at the possibility of a Nagy Comrie Doan line.

Yeah he cant play wing by the sounds of it.

Did Comrie play for Canada? I cant remember if he and Doan played together perhaps.. I think Doan was on a super-checker line with Draper so perhaps not. Comrie always seemed to play best with Ryan Smyth so it seems natural to put him with Shane Doan.

Comrie should center Nagy.

The two have amazing speed.

Put Doan on the RW to add some size.

Amazing line in my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Hrdina play wing in Pittsburgh on Mario's line? Sounds to me like we could move him to wing and put Comrie in the middle.

You are correct.

Nagy/Comrie/Doan
Hrdina/Langkow/????

Radivojevic would fit there but he may be headed to PHI. Sjostrom could fit in nicely there.

I was thinking more like:
Nagy-Comrie-Doan
Johnson (can play either side)-Langkow-Sjostrom
Taffe-Hrdina-Radivojevic (if he is still here)/Cleary
Savage-Gratton-Novoseltsev

Latest estimation was that they hope to have him back at mid march.

Ever hear of the phrase "Don't count your chicken's before they hatch"?

The deal is not final until it is announced and isn't a Buccigross report. Comrie is still in a Flyers uniform until we see an article confirming the deal.

what is their twenty posts about the possibility of Comrie being a Coyote. This compared to the three hundred posts from Flyer fans *****ing about it. The flood gates will open on this site once the trade is confirmed. There are a number of posters who have embarassed themselves for the way they trash talked Phoenix about their supposed asking price for Burke.

I do recall many fans thinking Teppo would get them a real nice return, and laughed at some of the offers. Then when Sillinger was the return, I heard those same fans crying 3000 miles away.

That was a totally different situation, my boy.

That was a salary dump. With most of Burke's salary paid, this will be a trade out of courtesy. With New York and Philly bidding for Burke, it could be the Flyers' fans who are crying 3000 miles away.

Here's the facts on the Teppo deal. they were offered the exact same package that Detroit sent to LA for Schneider. Phoenix couldn't do the deal because Tepp's wife was pregnant and due to give birth in April. He vetoed the deal with his no trade clause. Phoenix elected not to exercise their option because they couldn't afford Teppo this year. Teppo had a player option and exercised it. As it was obvious on all sides that Teppo should move on Teppo used his no-trade clause and dictated which team he would go to. Phoenix had little option but to work out the best deal available. The rest is history.
