Whats the average age of the Flyers? It must be the youngest in the league.

Not sure but I'd think PIT can compete here.

I'm actually pretty sure that Buffalo is the youngest.

San Jose was the second or third youngest, but I don't know what they are now since they added Rivet/Guerin.

I think with all of the call-ups, Buffalo is the youngest team right now. They aren't the youngest when everyone is healthy though.

With Downie, Giroux, and maybe even Parent making some games next year and the elimination of Hatcher we'll be even younger.

Wow, really? I figured with Malone, Crosby, Malkin, Christensen, Fleury, etc...you'd be very young. God damn Recchi messing it all up.

Well you're right, we are a very young team overall.

It's just that our first line has two really old guys (Gary Roberts and Mark Recchi) on the wings with Sid in the middle.

If it's not updated with the most recent trades, then I'd have to think the Flyers got younger and the Pens got older (Roberts, Laraque).

Hey, I don't blame you in the least! I'd do it but I'm pretty lazy myself.

The Pens lost Dom Moore, age 26 and added Laraque, age 30 and Roberts, age 41.

According to my calculations, that makes our average age 27.1.

The rosters are up to date, but may be inflated meaning they contain players that are assigned to the AHL.
