Since I'm in central Jeresy, I get the Phantoms games on Comcast. Baranka's a monster. Potter looks smooth. The Pack just get the puck and go. Dubi is centering Byers and Cally, while it appears that Korpi is centering Dawes and Bourret.

I didn't really notice him much in the 1st. Then again I didn't really notice anyone with this horrible feed.

Are you getting the same horrible broadcast I am online..the one that doesn't show replays and has a drunk on the camera?

I don't think so. Just looks like AHL hockey to me.

Think this game is exactly like every game I've seen with HFD this season, they carry the play, but they are vunerable since they make allot of so-so decisions with the puck.

They have the right intentions, but if they made better decisions they make the other team pay allot more, which would force them to back off allot more. Now Philly can counterattack and push forward hard with three men.

Great to see Potter for the first time, haven't shown much defensivly which is supposed to be his strength, but he moves the puck well, which is essential for a D with intentions to make it to the NHL these days. I've only seen a period of him, but he looks really interesting.

Its obvious why Korpikoskis numbers have been better lately. He have defenitly picked it up a notch, getting involved more. Its good to see him getting some time at center too, don't think he got a future there, but its great to have wingers that can help out centers in the transition game, either if that winger plays with a center who is flawed in the transition game, or just if they have been forced to change positions during the shift.

Haven't seen much of Bourret, mostly probably because the cameraman got a hard on to zoom in a ton. Sometimes you can read what brand (CMM) the puck is...

Everything is choppy, i never know where the puck is. The camera guy is so zoomed in I never see players finish hits, and he goes back and forth at top speed to try to find the puck...its just brutal.

I will say after watching 2 away games that the HFD broadcasts are top notch. Ordered about 10 home games last season and 2 this season and the quality was very good.

No more ordering away games for me.

Saw a game from Russia once. The camera man was normal in the first two periods. In the third he could film the wrong zone for 30 seconds... Was hilarous, the game was on national tv in Sweden, I have never before become seasick watching a hockeygame.

One positive is that this guy is better when HFD got the puck, when Philly got it he zooms in so you only see the player with the puck...

btw, Ryan Callahan is 1 goal away from being 2nd in the AHL for Goals.. he has 33, Giroux has 34 (2nd) and Sterling (probably keeping the lead) has 44..

lets see him tie it up tonite

What I can make out this game is that Korpi again looks like he is easily the best player on the ice for the Pack so far.

why don't we seriously get together and e-mail MSG about broadcasting Hartford games? does anyone know the logistics/rights situations of this idea?

i think i remember last year that they advertised for a game on MSG (tape delay) and if i'm not mistaken FSNE (is it?) does in fact broadcast some 'Pack games?

Dubi with the nice re-direct, followed by Purinton with an interference penalty.

Oh good, Purinton comes out of the box and goes right back in. Another PP for Philly.
