3/10 vs. Blue Jackets

I've decided I'm probably going to come down for the game. Will I be able to buy tickets at the door, and what can I expect to pay for a decent seat? Anything I need to know, and any good places to eat dinner around the arena, let me know. Thanks a bunch.

I just found some on TicketMaster. Some at $40 and others around $80. The $40 tickets are in section 316.

Since you want to eat close by the arena, here are my suggestions: If you want more "upscale" type food close to the BoB/Hop, try Merchant's (just down the street 2-3 blocks). For casual, I would say go to the Sportsgrille (just across the street from our building) in the Hilton....get there early though to get a seat.

Those are just my favorites.....I'm sure others on here have their favorites to recommend.

If you're going, get your tickets now. Less than 700 seats left and expected be sold out before Saturday.

There's a nice (and cheap) little place to eat on Lafayette St called "The Union Mission." I'd recommend that to any CBJ fan

My fave places to eat downtown:

Mulligan's Pub - Irish pub with typical pub fare
Bailey's - huge sports bar with decent bar food
Old Spaghetti Factory - very cheap and not bad for the price
Big River Grille

In addition, some other good ones downtown:

Market Street Brewery (pub style)

San Antonio Taco Company for some cheap good tex-mex.

Demos (restaurant)

SATCO cheap? Only if you get a coke and even that's pricey.

I love the food, but it's hardly cheap.

Gotta love it, a few Columbus fans are talking trash about us in their going to Nashville thread. Two pot shot attendance posts.

Who cares? Columbus fans may take shots at our attendance, but not a one of them wouldn't trade our organization and those therein straight up for the Jackets franchise. They are great fans, but they know how it all works.

Besides, what would you rather have, fans or something to cheer for?

Smokey beat me to it. We have bad attendance. Their team is horrendous with very little to suggest it will get better any time soon. I'll take our situation any time, thankyaverymuch.

Now come on, let's not start anything here.

You've got to realize Columbus fans are a humble, and sarcastic, group. Six seasons of losing and you'd start to not take yourself seriously, either.

Jack's Barbecue (on Broadway, half a block away from the arena across the street) is not a bad place to eat either...

Just wanted to say Nashville was great and everyone was very polite, thanks for all the hospitality. Definitely count me in for being back down for a game or two again next season.

Glad you had fun. You guys had a pretty big group of fans come down for the game. Was that the fan club or a bunch of guys getting together for a road trip? Where did you eat?
